The land was well prepared for our arrival, but there were some who don't belong, today we feasted on their flesh and the flesh of their offspring, the mine they were guarding will aid in the growth of our coffers.

Dwarf King, Day 2:

A minor battle to capture an outpost and a life node. Most of our troops wasted the turn watching Heathcliff's cat hero use all 9 of those lives in a battle against indies.

Actually, my Sphynx Lord lost eight lives, but he survived and I am proud of that. My soldiers, following that beautiful example, won three different battles.

We explored a dungeon today, we lost a couple of units, but the reward was worth it.

Dwarf King, Day 3:

We have also claimed a dungeon and freed the prisoners but ours weren't that great. We should have let them rot.

Today we used our newly acquired units to capture some resources, tomorrow, an outpost.

Nothing but movement and scouting. Battles shall commence at dawn.

We took an outpost today, but now these mortals must be converted to Undead, this will set us back a few days.

Captured a node. Still migrating.

Won an easy battle for a mine and our hero named Dark Dwarf gained a very useful level.

Finally I have an Average reputation, but immediately the Dwarven Kind has become "Powerful"
It maybe because my troops are running around my castle, and his units are exploring distant lands.

A fire node proved to be a bit more dangerous than we counted on and our brave dwarf is now scurrying for the local healer.

Captured a node today, but we are lacking in other resources.

Dwarf King

Our valiant hero has returned from the undergound region badly wounded but full of glory. After a quick visit to the local church he is dispatched once again.

Our secondary army has recruited several creatures and now march on a larger halfling village within our realm.

Heathcliff
One of my scouts was transported to the same site where a soldier of the Dwarf King was waiting. The battle, although fortuitous, was inevitable. We left victorious... and now the war has begun.

So Heathcliff desires war, eh? Great timing. We needed something to wedge our axes into. The dwarven army has conquered the irrational halflings and is moving toward some Goblin fodder. Too bad they weren't cats.

Captured a node today and fled from capturing one in the underground. We will not accept cowards in our army, tomorrow they will be sent back in.

So Boris the Black has sent a skeleton into the teleporter. At least, it used to be there. We make quick work of the fellow and then move on. There are larger fish to fry. (like Heathcliff's frostling town)

Snowdrop is in dwarf hands, we redirect our troops to take it back, today has been our worst day, lost two units in two battles, one hero and a silver medal prowler.
The only positive thing is the alliance contract signed with the queen of the elves.

Captured a much needed furnace today, we must progress slowly the next few days as we can't afford to lose anyone.

Dwarf King

Our dwarven hero continues to claim fame beneath the earth. Several orc scum have fallen and a bird from the cats is now seriously injured.

Heathcliff continues to be a great asset to our campaign. Today he donated a magical node and we continue to rule the frostlings with pride.

Heathcliff - Day 12
The Dwarven King is showing too much confidence...
I woulk like to know why he sent his hero by the teleporter, perhaps he did not get the warning I got when I sent my Zephyr.
Added another good spell to our magic book, too bad that we dont have enough mana to enchant all of our units.

Approaching our next objective and I notice that our reputation amongst the Wizards Guild is weak? I laugh, Ha , we won't be weak for long.

Captured a village today, our flow of resources is improving.

The pesky bird of Heathcliff continues to live but I expect it has outlived its chances. Interesting armies are forming throughout the landscape. A human patrol led by their hero has been discovered in the caves quickly eliminated. We dwarves enjoy the deep caverns.

Diplomacy: Arachna is advancing in the caverns, we sent to her a peace offer. Vorsar is our ally now.
The dwarf attacks against my scouts will be avenged.
