These dwarves are @#%#%$% tough! I'm trying to save mana in combat so I can reanimate the dwarven ruins, but it is costing me my death knights. Soon enough I'll have some real units, however.

We lost three units in a failed attempt to take a dwarven town. A calculated risk - if the seduce had worked first turn, we could have won.

But people flock to be part of my armies...people who can convince other people to join too.

A terrible day. The occupants of the dwarven prince's zoo somehow burst through the webs that should have held them. Though Dania managed to survive the waves of attackers, all the others were slain and the dwarven town rebelled. We have retaken it, and more help is on the way, but this sets us back at least two days, perhaps more.

More recruits and more cities conquered. Unfortunately, we do not have the mana to cast Animate Ruins so quickly. And as a result, units are stranded keeping the towns from rebelling. Atleast gold income is more than decent.

The dwarven town has at last been razed and reanimated. Reinforcements are on the way, and tomorrow we will resume our progress.

Another town reanimated, another vampire joins and another recruit is convinced to follow us.
All in all, a good day though my reaper took forever to kill a single unit. He may be a hero but still, to a reaper, everything is just a unit.

We have sighted what seems to be a Dwarven prince and a sign saying something about a zoo and an aquarium. Looks like Famine has moved faster!!!

It seems wherever we go, we see a huge domain of Famine that can only be accounted for by a Tower. And so far, it looks like he has three and aims to get a fourth one.
