Scythe Beard day 1

We embark on bold adventures, battles go well and our starting forces are eager to engage and conquer the surrounding areas. We feel we will be attacked in the night... we think we are ready.

Made contact with some useful allies and took nearby structures.

Scythe day 2

A fine day as the battles go well against the wandering monsters. Starting spells don't help us much in our battles but tomorrow we will have a nice blazing comet to throw at our enemies... it should helps us out nicely.

We conquer our targets with no losses, but we are in no shape for any battles tomorrow.

Two cities fall into our hands today... the battles were bloody so now we must heal up for a few days and wait for more wandering invaders....

Took a magic node today and dispatched some human spies. Proceeding with caution.

A fine day as captured another mine, much healing is in order right now so we hope no wandering beasts approach in the next several days.

Need resends for both games. What is going on, I wonder?

Arghhh this is driving me nuts with turns not getting through. Turns resent separately... hopefully they make it.

Scythe day 5

Darn beetle and support troops showed up in the distance.... they will take a city in the night, we really needed a few more days to prepare for them. Most unfortunate. We will deal with them in 2 more days... hope they don't do too much damage while we wait.

Took a node today. A new hero was welcome, though it was a bad time to drain our coffers.

The Beetle is getting closer.... we hope to slay the foul beast tomorrow now that reinforcements have arrived back at our capital.

Slow day everywhere else.

A new village has joined our cause, allowing us to start spending money again. Some decisions need to be made.

The Beetle was destroyed, lost one of my paladins and now we're off on new adventures.

We met Vorsar... hopefully we'll be able to bother him sufficiently the next few turns however he has quite a force with him.

We give Vorsar his first loss as we slay some of his advance guards. We hope his hero and badly wounded cavalier continue towards us.... easy pickings... but we fear he will turn around and bring more forces back with him.

More wandering invaders are causing us grief too.

We have won two important battles without any losses, and our army can now grow as quickly as our income. A few troops have crossed the river to intercept some scouts.

Scythe day 12

Well... Vorsar's hero and weakened cavalier ran back away... darn... we wanted to wipe out that easy target.

Too bad the indies have captured another town from us. Must go do something about that

Seems like we have met Yaka's adance troops (but we don't see any of them) just his picture in the diplomacy section... most interesting...

Some of our army sailed across the river to deal with some independents. Tomorrow they march on the goblins. The rest have stayed behind to recruit new troops.

Another hero of Vorsar's is approaching... we hope our advance troops will survive. Still chasing the other hero, hopefully we'll catch him.

Elsewhere... more wandering beasts to be dealt with.

Rats! Vorsar attacked the far outpost and slew our mighty gold medal pegasus rider took out the crossbowman and shredder but fell to the stoning spell and Vorsar was out of ranged attack too, most unfortunate.

Elsewhere, we expect attacks from wandering indies in the night... not looking forward to that starting to get rough.

We are starting to see signs of other wizards, but our defensive army is quickly growing in strength and numbers. We should be ready for whatever approaches.

A fine day as we slay one group of wandering invaders.... we are also closer to one of Vorsar's heroes... we hope to catch him tomorrow and slay him.

Another group of wandering invaders has met up with another group of defenders.... should be fun watch those fireworks.

My troops foolishly spent the night in the cave of an ancient dragon. They were indeed attacked just before dawn, but suffered surprisingly light casualties. They spent the rest of the day looting the creature's lair.

Another indie stack to deal with... tomorrow it will be taken care of and then we hope to push out against Vorsar... again.

The approach of a hostile scout forced us to separate our forces, slowing our approach on Vorsar's village. Elsewhere, we have had our fist battle against him, killing a scout and taking control of one of Yaka's magic nodes. We have yet to see any serious signs of resistance. Tomorrow we will reach a tower and get a better look at the surrounding lands.

The last (we hope) of the wandering invaders has been taken care of. Now we focus our efforts on other matters... like Vorsar!

We struck our first major blow at Vorsar yesterday, conquering his village. Our troops were wearied, but we suffered no losses. Today the village has become a staging point for our forces as we reorganize our troops and send them in all directions.

Vorsar has wandered back where he came from. Good news for us as it gives a couple more days to bring reinforcements forward so we can press the attack.
