We've made our choice. The sands it is.

Julioch, day 1

We take a mine and head for a crypt.

Man, yet again we lose an important early fight. Our hero and several other troops were massacred by enemies we should have defeated with only light losses.

Julioch, day 2

Injuries at the crypt are heavier than anticipated. We rest before moving on to that lovely Chaos Node.

We are licking our wounds and wondering what in the area we can conceivably conquer.

Julioch, day 3

We won a tough fight thanks to our monks. One even took down a Hell Hound in hand-to-hand combat!

It's still slow going slogging through these forests, though.

Took a furnace today with minimal losses.

Julioch, day 4

Back to the road at last, took a tower, and see two recruiting structures nearby.

Took an outpost today, but losses were high.

Julioch, day 5

Did some recruiting. We'll have to wait until tomorrow to do more since we were a little roughed up.

Little to report.

Julioch, day 6

Lost a stone-skinned Yeti. Still, we opened up our new recruitment center. If only we had any money left.

We were able to hire a hero today, allowing us to explore further afield.

Gold, gold, gold, gold, gold, lots and lots of gold, gold, gold!

That was one rich campsite. Help is on the way.

Resting again to heal our heroes.

Conquered a mine today. A village is in our sites next.

Julioch, day 9

Got another village and a couple structures. Made some mistakes and almost lost General Horza, but he's okay.

Our income level is good at the moment. Tomorrow we will see about taking another settlement.

Julioch, day 10

More healing before tomorrow's tricky battle.

Took another outpost without much difficulty, but it will have to be converted before it is useful.
