Hmmmm... we have one battle that does not go as planned... did not realize we were in the shadow land above ground and the units got to strike at us first made things a bit tricky and our mighty leader was left with just 1 hp We hope we are not attacked in the night... but we could be. If we are we will likely get sent into the void, hopefully our weakened armies are strong enough to discourage the patrolling bear!

Wheh... the bear ended his turn one hex away from our unguarded capital... we will finish building that new building after all.

Took care of the bear, now a couple more wandering creatures have appeared in the West, bound to lose an army or two in the night... it will be interesting to see where they run off to.

We lost the two wandering rogues that may end up joining us if we could find them. All other wandering beasts have been eliminated so we are feeling more secure at home.

Apologies for the restart - PC threw a wobbly!!

Fought the battle for a mine. Went fairly well, no losses, but some injuries. Now we have to hotfoot over the other side of our empire where our other mine is taken over by two dogs.

A few days of work has proven to bring about great rewards. Our Eastern front is secure with a few more cities added to the realm. Our Western front is regrouping from the earlier losses but will soon be just as strong as it was before. Income is growing and our outposts are taking forever to grow....

We got a nice water walking spell for clearing out the node... tomorrow we hope to advance our research before taking on a nice city. Income is going well... hope to be able to use all this money on those outposts in a day or two.... hurry... build more homes...

Took a chance against 4 dwarven armies... that double attack is nasty but we did survive the battle. Now the recruitment site will strengthen our armies significantly... that is if we can keep control of the good and evil troops held within.

The dogs are located - heading towards yet another mine! Seem to be spending the game chasing around our small empire after them. Captured a tower on the way (lost a unit to an outright kill by an orc sniper!!) and recovered our lost city.

Rats... the attacks in the night weakened our troops too much so we must now heal up... and without a healer

Slow going as the small outposts become villages and can now produce troops, this will strengthen our advance scouts. Too bad we ventured out too far and the wandering beasts wiped out another one of those brave scouts.

Located two fire wolves and killed them - unfortuntely, the battle occurred on shadowland and their initial attack got to our troops killing one. Recaptured the mine, now where to go.....

Some of our troops can just reach a recruitment site, and fight an easy battle for the keys! One fairly useful unit is recruited, but the rest are hardly worth the effort.

Attacked by two area guards in the night, no problem. Attacked the occupants of a furnace and unfortunately lost a unit. A scout reaches another friendly city, if you can call the ridiculous amount of money they demand to join being friendly.

Well... we may have overstepped things a bit... we uncover a tower and see some roaming guards a ways off... they may be closer than we think though and could attack... and they will likely hit our small stack that will be decimated.... this will surely slow us down if they do.

We can hope for the best in the night!

Quite a good day - captured a farm and another city. Mana is poor so a chaos node beckons.... hope it's not too heavily defended.

Two horseman appear near our home city and are just one hex away from having their services bought.
