We threw a lot of men on Necrons powerstack. Lost them all, but weakened it a little bit.

Got thrown into the void by some angry efreet guards in a magicvault.

Took advantage of the great losses by Anon, and seized an Elven city. Lost a Warlord in the process, but it was well worth it in the end..

Those seducing witches are a nuisance for sure.

I have tried a various number of tactics, I have razed all the towns on Necrons side of the map, but Necron allways raise from the dust. I have the upper hand though. And I hope it won't be long now. It has been a spectacular game so far, with all the good stuff in it. I have tried out forge blast in a pbem for the first time, it pretty much rocked, or what Ror?
50 days on Creek of Aberil must be some kind of a record, and still undecided.........hmmm

Game 1: Necron day 2 & 3

I'm trying to repair the damage of day one

Best game ever.

I was down to one city at one point, with the rest razed by Anon. But from the dust, a new empire of Orcs arose in less than ten turns, and Anon was in for a big surprise when he came in for the final kill. That was around turn 25.

After that the war has ravaged the land, with Anon keeping the upper hand and pressure with his constant attacks by Leprechauns and Titans. Luckily for me, he had not the patience to change tactics until late 40's, so I had time to recover and test some of my own tactics while he was pretty single-tracked. At some times he did not dare do anything else than produce and hurry those 4lvls because of the Warlords knocking on his door

Day 50, and Anon has changed tactics. A huge blunder made by me sent a whole stack of units out of my capitol (Darn doublerightclick!), and he can now just stride in with his Titan and raze it again. And this time I won't be able to return from the grave, as Anon has done his homework this time. I will try a few turns to see if it is at all possible to rectify that one horrible misclick, but I don't see much hope.

Well, the mistake was not unforgivable it seems, as Anon's Titan just can't reach that city completely So he'll get vanquished at the citygates by the returning Orc horde.

Game 3, Necron day 2. A Warlord guards the neighbouring city. I might just spend a lot of gold to get him under my command

I guess Necron counted wrong, 'cause I reached the city just fine.......

The failure of Anon in keeping his foothold on the ruins of my capitol will cost him dearly. His army has laid siege upon my eastern stronghold, awaiting the Forgeblast to be cast. But I am prepared for it, and Troy will have to start all over again in a feww turns.

Big battle won today. In a day or two we will continue our crusade into Necrons badlands..........

Again and again, Troy assumes too much and too little.
I threw him backout of the eastern stronghold, as he tried to reinforce it. Of course, he will take it back.

But the time I gain is crucial...

On the other hand, there is no point in continuing this as my defeat is certain. I could have prolonged it for some time, but some key events proved to be nooses around my neck, and now I am all out of air.

I surrender, but of course demand a rematch.

Rematch with Ror accepted on a modified CoA (CAPT) map with a little better start for the bad guys

The rematch is underway with slight edits for balance.

Troy said it was the first time he had used a certain spell in PBEM, but the game was finished in about 2 days! That seems a long time for a multiplayer game, but much too short for a 56-turn PBEM game!

Very curious about what kind of game this is!

About Nonchalance's reply: It's no problem keeping up this pace in a pbem-game when both players agree on beeing online at the same time. Filetransfer through msn or icq works fine.
