We regain some dignity today...

We regained A LOT of dignity today when AnonŽs elven fast attack force (not really, look more like a bunch of infantry picked up at a campsite) impaled itself on the stalwart defences of our orc town. My wounded Vampirette and her skeleton archer sidekick did the impossible and staved off the attack. I especially loved the bitch fight between the Nymph and my Vampire

Unfortunately...Nekron lost some of that newly gained dignity, as one of our pegasus riders took his underground city...

Won and lost...

The city lost to the Pegasus Rider was easily retaken, but we suffered the loss of three orc cav on the south-eastern front when we assaulted the elven city there (or was it a halfling city?). A close fight, but still...

Too bad I couldnŽt capitalize on my advantage there, weŽll try something else!

Easily took a indie drow city...now to rid it of its foul occupants...

Nekron, Day 10

A ray of hope... I took AnonŽs elven city today after the defenders charged forth in an ill-advised sally. Meeting my garrison troops, they ran into a hardened defence and were all killed, enabling me to advance further thatn I had expected...

Should have known better than to attack...but hope is not lost. We expect to be albe to retake the city within 3 or 4 days.

High? Not too high I think....;-) Today we explored the end of a rainbow. More than a pot of gold was found!

Harhar, another hero killed, and robbed of his goodies. That was decent looting! But not everything is going that well in Aberil...

Well, a high price was extracted from AnonŽs horde when they stormed my capital. We have another tower waiting for us, and slay nearby spies...

This may take a few turns...but the end is certain.

Alas, I was hunted won. Losing Ymbria thr Priest on Day 3 was the beginning of a downward spiral.

I am a little at loss as to how Nekron can win on this map: The lush Creek Valley holds all advantages for Anon with his fast flyers and elven troops, while the Orcs, Gobbos and Undead are roadbound and so much slower...

Maybe the rematch will show!
