Note: Hayseed and myself are allied from the start and I am fine with it as that is the way the last game went down.

GM - That waterfall looks incredible. Nicest water effect I have seen on any map.

Ah, a beautiful day in beautiful surroundings. Fellow Halflings joined our good cause. We'll enjoy the beauty for now as we'll have to take care of evil menace the upcoming days in the form of Ulmrat and Felix.

The cries for war from my people are just, and so today I set forth with the whole of the tigran army to right the wrongs done to us by those pesky halfwits and their domoneering overlords, the elves.

Of course, now that we are about to enter into war, the god of order has appeared and asks us to do him a favor. Luckily it should be easy enough to accomplish.

Looking for water.

Things almost went perfectly today and the gold seemed to just rain out of the sky. That's what happens when you do a favor for the spirit of magic and find a leprachauns treasure on the same day.

We spotted a spying bird under the flag of Felix Sandstorm. He'll regret spying our lands.

looks like the halflings have expanded quite nicely! I can see most of their lands with my eyes in the skies!

Two nearby outposts were "convinced" to join the Orc cause. No sign of the elves yet. I can see the halflings land though the flying eyes of my friends the Tigrans. We look forward to get a share of it after they are defeated.

Ulmrat should see me soon. Some small bands of his rabble were spotted foraging to the south of my paradise.

We just keep on exploring and expanding. Not much else to mention.

looks like we beat a peasant to his destination... and were rewarded well for it!

We can see a flying spy from the elves in the distance as well as an elven city.

Bands of elven hunting parties make their way south towards the orcish waste. Where my water project failed, elven swords and arrows will prevail.

Felix's bird pointed out something we hadn't spotted in the forests yet. Luck was with us as a hero joined right in time. Along with some brave forces they took the spying bird out.

Sorry for the restart guys. Thanks to my gf we had a bit of a shortcircuit here while I was playing. I'm actually glad my computer survived. I know I had combat in this turn but it was just too important to pass by on. And it was a clear victory anyways. The restart even cost me a slinger I didn't lose in the first encounter with the bird.

He must have something against my attempted theft of the halfling production resources!

and now I must try to find a way to deal with more halfling trespassers while my army is attending matters elsewhere... damned spirit of war always giving me these quests at the most inopportune times...

LTR - no prob with the restart. Could you try it one more time though, so my bird can take out 2 slingers instead this time?

My troops ate roasted elven flesh today. They want more.

Poor innocent party of independent elves. I was hoping to maybe hire them too but they were slaughtered by Ulmrat's army, led by Ulmrat himself no less.

My western force was ordered forward and they assaulted a orcish keep. The poor orc defenders had no missle troops and were mercifully exterminated as quickly as possible and their carcasses burned and made into compost to feed the green, green forest. My fine troops suffered one minor wound but they may have to fight for their lives tomorrow if Ulmrat musters a desperate counterattack. Archers to the ready.

Felix tried to sell me a dwarven tool for an unholy sum, not once but three times. What chicanery is this vagabond of the south engaged in? We are not ammused and plan to make him pay for this disregard for my rightousness.

Felix's bird's just won't give up. They're heading towards me again. We'll 'fix' them.

PS Restart in all my games because I had to reinstall windows. Yesterday's shortcircuit screwed over my machine after all It was a big mess when I tried to start windows today. Seems my harddisk is a slow goner. New harddisk, new windows, new AoW: SM and things are running again.

I was hoping Ulmrat would stay in the north but it looks as though he has disapeared. Coward!

A wayward Ulmrat wolf was slain by my new sheriff who decided to join up yesterday. He seemed to be quite affected by a young nymph.

A taste for what is in store for felix was dealt out when I sent my two zephyr birds to kill his. I shouldn't have had any casualties on this one but luck was with him and I barely had one bird survive. Bittersweet.

My western band scouted and took posession of a goblin slum but maintain residence in the keep to the west. They see orcs to the south east.

Today we sent Felix on a trip to the void. My tough sheriff is proving to be a worthy leader. We keep expanding.

I had forgotten my spellbook in the void, and needed to retrieve it as quickly as possible. Luckily, the halfpints came to my aid.

I leave with my army to go thank them personally.
