I wonder at the existance of peaceful goblins, much less peaceful goblins taking over the world. However my focus is much more on subuding all the loose forces that seem to infest my side of the bridge.

I'm even more dubious at the concept of "good" goblins than I was at the concept of peaceful ones. Alas my diplomatic nymph, who was goign to swim over and try and understand this paradox, was killed in battle, so other arrangements will need to be made.

One of our Sentient Resource Aquisition Engineers was killed today, having been badly wounded in prior battles and left without support. He will be sorely missed.

Have reaquired our water mill, our people can once again enjoy the bread of its output. And to mak sure this doesn't happen again, we've taken our opponents mill. (Though the kind of grain those goblins eat defies description)

Having lost my infiltrator, I will need to resort to more straightforward methods. Cleaning up some of the mess of my backfield seems in order.

Trying another advance scout, I have taken a tower in enemy territory, using a dwarven crossbowmen recruited locally. The unfortunately my pig lost control and rushed against hte enemy gates to be killed. Ah well. such is the risk of invading with livestock.

Throwing almost all of my force I take the tower, but not without cost. still, allowing it to remain in goblin hands is far more costly in the long run. Hopefully now I can forcus on more worthy objectives.
