Having claimed a small island to the southeast of the mainland as my capitol, I begin to solidify my power base in preparation for future expansion.

I do hope you have turned surrender off in this game. Otherwise, I propose that we start a new one with surrender off - if the others agree, that is.

BTW Timelord, can you try to load radiantclouds's turn to see if it is password protected? If it is we have to restart the game anyway.

If it is not I suggest we load Merlins turn, raze his capitol, surrender his empire and count him as if he was killed by indies. This way we will be able to continue the game, and will get some WL points out of him

Day 2 of mankinds conquer of this world:

Found my troops with weird positions and ordered them to regroup. On day 3 the attack on a near camp will follow, and a scout brought reports that the south of the island is full of treasure too.

I have a vision.... lots of boats, filled with humen sailing across the sea looking for new adventures and land to dwell.

Things are looking ok. If everything goes according to plan in the next three days, it will be a great start for the dark elves.

Meandor - Day 4

A magic catalyst was used to speed up the research of a very important spell...one that will help greatly in our expansion.
Some mines were added to the resource pool and with the newly acquired money, a favorably-aligned village will be bought next turn...leading to more research...this has a good ring to it!!!

Meanwhile, Meandor himself is leading personally the hunt for the infidels...and the further riches that have been sighted beyond.

Master Grogmir is making fine progress. He has reached level 3 today and will reach level 4 tommorow. Being conqueror helps.

Meanwhile a node was captured from mysterious energy balls. Two brave dwarves perished in battle, but flow of magical energy will compensate that.

The spirit of Magic played me for a fool today.
We completed two quests and the rewards we got were monies and mana. Is this the way to reward multiple days' efforts?. I am sorely displeased. I will not build a magic shrine in my cities.
