Nothing much going on in this part of the country. One battle in the past 5 days which have left my troops in no shape to face anything else right now.
---------- Turn sent to Kris. P.S. Restart greeted me when I opened the turn. Don't know why.

Artica - Day 5
My poor mammoth was heavily wounded and had to flee a battle Otherwise things are going well enough...
So, the frost queen is relying on yetis majorly, I see. Good thinking.
My hero and darter miscalculated when they took on Dragyr. The yeti behind him cut short the victory howls from my hero's throat.
On another front, my mystic and firecat were hacked mercilessly to death. Revenge shall soon be ours.

Artica - Day 11
So the trap worked... too bad Dragor was killed too. The nice armor the orc hero had was teleported to our other hero using all my mana. The yeti then captured the goblin town before hiding in the snow again... My zephyr bird also had some fun near the orc capital

The Cold Front is acting as I had thought they would...though it is not to my liking at all.
However, a new hero joined our services and will be put to good use. The goblin town was regained with a warlord and a priest. Hope this is deterrent enough for that sneaking yeti. The zephyr has had his fun. Now, he must do something for which he was born - be roast meat on Karissa's table for dinner.
------------------- Turn sent to Kris. P.S. The restart is due to the file not getting downloaded properly the first time. Happened in another game as well. No fights of any nature. Only troop movements. Sorry about that.

Artica - Day 12
Dear Karissa, I am looking forward to see how your slow doom bats are going to catch my zephyr bird... Another ambush, this time 2 of my yetis attacked and killed another orc hero and a orc cavalry, unfortunately one yeti was killed. More doom bats was spotted in the south...
The loss of the hero and cavalry was very crucial to my efforts. Should have decided to stick with caution after that first ambush. *kicking myself hard*
Too many troops of Artica in too many places!! And I see she has also acquired those elven and halfling villages. Its going to be a bloody hard battle for survival now. Lets hope.

Artica - Day 13
The poor dark priest Karissa had left to defend the goblin village was so terrified when my yeti showed up, that he immediately surrendered In the south my heroes attacked the shipwreck, they won but the mammoth was killed, a loss that will be hard to replace..
I thought it was a trap but hell, I thought surrender was off.
Future looks bleak now. have to resort to harassing the enemy to gain some time.

Artica - Day 15
My little army of crossbowmen and shredders joined with my shadow and managed to take the undead village (with great losses), killing another of Karissa's heroes in the process...
In a desperate attempt, I moved my only stack - elite warlord, cavalry, efreet and two doombats to the advancing army...and lost. The good news is that the advancing army is no more save for a single yeti. Doombats rock. ------- TS

Artica - Day 18
Hmm, a "minor" setback, now it will take longer than expected to defeat Karissa.. If just my stupid troops had tried to kill the doom bats before all the anti air units was killed
Another day when Surrender won. My veteran doombat attacking the recently-converted village surrendered against a veteran shade, a djinn, two xbowmen and a shredder. This put me off terribly.
Sims using the editor (without medals for shade and doombat) resulted in a 90% chance for my doombat to win. ( 9 times out of ten). Even with medals (when the shade gets poison immunity) my doombat should have been able to kill atleast the remaining 4 and severely wound the shade. This was so pathetic.

Artica - Day 19
Just building up a new army...
---------------------------
I will have to agree about surrender, it is stupid, I will remember to take it off in all games I am starting from now on...
Well, I did 10 test runs...I thought anyway, my doombat would get defeated but atleast I would whittle down that stack to one badly-injured shade. When I got a 9-times win during my sims, I decided, heck, lets attack...and I almost cried.

Artica - Day ?
Another village was captured from Karissa, her income must be pretty low by now...
I am sorry about the (unexpected) delay I have caused, I was visiting my parents and expected to be able to play from there, but their internet connection was down (again )
