First day was filled with standart actions - scout was sent to surface, one group for the node and second - for the mine.

Scouting surface area near my cave. Three towns were located - nearest is of course demons, but other to are populated with good races

Even being known for exploration skill I failed to reach any town yet.

Production resourses were captured, but I had to choose between Enchanted Walls and Farcaster. Useless. But all three guards were transformed to loyal larva, and that is good.

Scouting zephyr bird of Arthur was lockated in mountains and my skimmer was ordered to hunt it down.

Few skirmishes with elves today, glade runner and archer were killed. Town on the border was captured once again, this time premanently.

Scouts report a steam tank under Arthur's banner in the north. Well, that can provide some challenge.

Heh, I have some tricks ready in my sleeve. Soon a spike near my capital will be decorated with Elme's beautiful head

In the north my blade dancers killed rogue and zephyr bird. Yet that rogue managed to hurt my minion badly.

Merlin Day 17.

Plan of Arthur is clear now. Using supreme mobility of hero and iron maiden to sneak through woods and catch up with northern army, leaving my main forces behind... Good plan, but will not work. Using my dark knowledge of spider arts I surrounded the northern army of arthur with thick webs. They will have lots of fun cuting through.

Seems like those webs are not that effective.
Most of my army could break through.
I made a silly mistake of attacking with part of my force.
It would have been nice to get a prompt before entering a battle.
Luckily the battle went ok.
The undead are off the sacred elven lands.

Hmm, I underestimated the agility and skill of Arthur's minions. But persistent resistance of enemy only makes the inevitable victory of Darkness sweeter.

More troops were ordered to replace the fallen and, more important, two special projects - Nemesis and Dark Sky are on the final stage now. Soon they will be finished and then all that resistance of elves will be useless. Mhahahahaha...

Merlin Day 19.

Today tank of arthur was destroyed. My brave troops even suffered no losses in process. Now all the fronts are under control and soon, with help of two special projects mentioned above, Arthur will be crushed.

Hmm, it seems enemy hero has got the rabbit foot or four leaf clever with him. Most likely both. My garison showed pathetic combat skills. I'm displeased. It doesn't matter of course, considering progress in my special projects, but it's annoying anyway.

Dark Sky project was finished today. Now there is complete darkness spreading from the central tigran keep and I can imagine dwarves and elves helplessly wandering around, unable even to see their death until they get their throats cut...

Second projects, Nemesis will be completed tommorow. But it will take some time to transport it to the front lines.

Arthur's army must choose fast. I don't think they like staying in the dark woods.

Nemesis speciment is moving to the front lines. Time will come and it will lead the army of darkness, and nobody will stop me.

what happened to the elves?
they used to be quite powerfull.
I also wonder why the druids don't use enatangle in FC.

Thanks for a nice game, with a help of harvester I had I very good start - converted lots of enemies into larva.

It's a pity that I had not opportunity to use result of my Nemesis project. It was production of Shadow Demon Lords in capital - I had two already and third was finished this day. First was near the central tigran city and second was going to reinforce the south group in two days...

Elves are still quite good, but IMO their iron maidens are better then druids now for FC. In that battle entangle was quite useless - my soldiers were outnambering yours. In certain situations entangle is used in FC but it's difficult to predict. If druid is fighting someone 1x1 he would use it quite often.

Races are more balanced now BTW. Playing as elves or as any other race do not give much advantage.
