How badly do you (as a modder) want this? Are you willing to sacrifice Magic Strike as a separate Ability?
Here is how: Explanation: Drawback: We lose Magic Strike, Prot, Imm as distinct Abilities. Magic is serves best, because it doesn't have a secondary effect, like all the other Elemental attacks. Also, Magic Bolts will have to be replaced with something. Advantages: Now we can have Elemental Strikes! 1) Replace Physical Protection and Immunity with Magic Protection and Immunity.
2) Give
3) Give Magic Strike to every Unit
4) Nomenclature: Rename Magic
#2 takes away the Damage done by Physical Attacks, but it preserves the Unit's Ability to attack in Melee.
#3 allows to bypass the PhyImm we granted in #2, so everything works as normal, but now Reaper, Glow, etc have lost their PhyProt Ability.
#1 reinstates that.
It is roaming the depths in eternal hunger, devouring all and everything, far from the light, lost in the shadows, alone, wandering, searching, evermore...
