This map is modified from Phillipp Wille's most excellent single player map Human Valley. Modified for multiplayer.
The humans are all but gone. The races that are left all vie for the territory remaining. Good and Evil fight against each other. Who will stand victorious?

Wizard Ladder, Allied Victory On, etc...

Enginerd as Elves
Sprout as Dark Elves

Elves day 1

We see the march of our Halfling brothers. They have moved out with boldness buying cities and spreading out. We hope the wandering monsters do not attack them too fiercly.

We move towards one city, Arghhh, Goblins! 8 of them guard a lovely 3 hex. We'll take that one later. Ahh good, another 3 hex guarded by friendlies. Things are looking up as we enlist the help of an elven swordsman who boldy goes out to rid the forests of wandering monsters.

Dark Elves - Day 2

My, but the time flies! Already wolves have come upon our ourtriders and killed them! An archer lost and other units are wounded. We move with caution. The tall stone walls protect the nearby cities - curses! We should have built a ram! Duh!

Elves day 2

Nasty boars kill two of our swordsmen and we too do not have a ram to crush the walls. We are too poor to buy the cities we desire as well.

Dark Elves - Day 4

Yesterday was a tough day, working around a wraith and some hell hounds to get a pair of swords.

Today was a worse day - as the swords now reside in a bag on the ground...as we attempt to take a city and underestimate the archery of elven archers

Without our hero, things are grim...

Elves

Our luck is much better in the dungeons than our evil cousins, we gain a shield and nice magic weapon and only lose our cleric to the beholder.

Fortunately our gold reserves are high (and with so few troops, it is increases rapidly). We are forced to regroup and perhaps will be able to use this gold for purchasing some more reserves...if we survive the night

We are out of money but things are looking up. We captured the goblin 3-hex from the 8 stupid troops. It will soon be migrated. We also prepare to take the other 3-hex and we're pretty sure we won't have enough to buy it from our dwarven friends, they'll have to die then.

We recruit a few troops and our 80% destroyed battering ram that barely escaped a few turns ago, once again moves into position...

We capture another farm and move our troops in to finish off another city. Our spell research is going well now that we have an attack spell to use.

And so the waiting begins...there is little that can be done except wait for the city that we finally took to migrate to a more respectable race. Otherwise, we are hoping nothing from the wild kills our poor scouts and they are able to claim a few more needed resources...

Our troops are held in the city that will soon finish migrating. The other troops out there are not sufficient to storm the walls, one more turn for the reinforcements. 2 wild wolves died in the night when they tried to raid us.

Our fine goblin city has finished migrating to something else and the dwarf 3-hex is ours as well. Our troops move out to secure the next city. Income is certainly looking up.

We capture more territory including a strategic shipyard. Soon boats will be crossing the waters to invade other lands. Our mighty hero gained a level, now he won't have to wait on that ram who moves sooo slow.

Our first scouts test their luck in Orcish territory. We'll see what we'll find over there. 2 more cities fall to the might our troops but darn those 2 wandering wolves killed my archer.

What a glorious day for the Elves We dash into Orcland and buy a nice halfing 3-hex. They were so happy to see us they set off and killed a nearby kobald. Silly kobald thought he could upgrade the orc city. We put an end to that and took their gold. Soon that city will be another halfling city.

Pirates, on the open seas. We know what to do about them.

We advance and capture the last city on our homeland. All that remains is our powerful life node. Arghhh, a gold dragon is guarding it. We need the mana so we gather our troops. They rest tonight for tomorrow we go hunting dragons!

We have repulsed the halflings forward forces...now we are confronted with an eagle and hero!

We go forward with our mighty troops and kill the dragon. The powerful magic life node is now ours. Our boat spots the Dark Elves on the center isle. We will be ready to move out soon. The orcs are mounting a counter, reinforecements are on the way.

We a bold stroke, we manage to sink the Elvish boat and are prepared to invade the Elvish coast now! We kill a halfling hero and witness the Orcs do more stupid things...grrrr...

Arghhhh! A Demon in the sky

We must rethink our plan. How did the dark elves manage to acquire such a powerful beast? Could that be the mighty demon imprisoned so long ago? The ancient texts speak of such beasts.

At least the orcs are still stupid (and quite rich). They retook the orc city and started upgrading it again. Another nice 250 gold for me that will help to build all those archers

Sadly, not only are the Orcs stupid...so are the dark elves. Not much left now - all our heroes are dead...all hope is gone as well...

The Orc hereos fall in battle. We will kill more the next several days. Stupid orcs move their troops around uselessly, but there are many of them. We fear for our Halfling brothers. The Dark Elves are creating much mischief in their lands.

We are surprised the DarkElves attacked us and then left their demon out of the battle. We are very happy to see both heroes fall in their attack. The warlord and troops left behind are easily taken care of by my large stack of archers

Now for the demon we must take care of that mighty beast. He razes our life node and hovers over the waters. We cannot get to him.

We would feel even more confident were it not for that demon and dragon ship. The demon is flying around causing all kinds of problems. Razed a lovely town of mine this turn, I wonder what it will do next turn?

Elves

We advance into the orc domain and take an indie 3-hex and also kill the 7 invading orcs and retake our halfing 2 hex. There cannot be too much left of the Orcs.

The Dark Elves however still have a mighty demon and several troops out there. We must kill that Demon, but how?
