Probably achieved about the same as the goblins. Think I made one bad decision though but it can be repared tomorrow.

Dark Elves and Goblins - Day 2

The Dark Elves accomplished all their objectives without problem. However, the Goblins got unlucky (very) in two badly which cost them badly. Even worse, no healing is going to cause some problems as well!

Turn sent to Eriksson.

Dwarves and Elves Day 2

Both fought some battles and won them without to much problem. Have made some positioning mistakes though.

Dark Elves and Goblins - Day 3

Unsure of the Dwarven and Elven troop movements, we take a risk and push ahead capturing another human city in the east and in the west.

In the west, the Elven troops were run over by our Karagh

Dark Elves and Goblins - Day 4

We spy the Dwarves taking the lizard 4 hex. Not good...but as they say - at least we know where the balloon is!

Not much of interest. Picked off a boar rider and a fairy that wandered too far afield.

Turn sent.

Dwarves and Elves Day 4

We might as well just go home

Dwarves were just taking out some halflings on a routinejob, but their satyr had extreme luck and they won the battle killing and taking control of several units....damn!

Elves didn't do much but mourn the loss of the important fairy.

All in all, we're behind.

Dwavres and Elves Day 5

After some serious calculations we decided to attack the goblin Karagh with friends with our nature elemenatl and unicorn...it didn't turn out as planned at all.
Now it seems almost impossible to stop that beast.

Dark Elves and Goblins - Day 6

After very little calculations, our two hasted ballistas, two storm priest, some archers and lizard shaman attack and slaughter the dwarf hero, shaman and giant.

Our karagh, filled with bloodlust, is leading the charge north.

Dwarves and Elves Day 6

Terrible game this, was almsot sure thoose ballistas wouldn't reach me... that was an unforgivable miscalculation.

Not that it matters to much now but we got a small revenge killing a hero with a couple of executioners.

Had restarts in both turns...think it has something to do with my autosend problems last turn when I tried several things.

Dark Elf and Goblin - Day 7

Ugh! No small revenge in killing 2 executioners, spider queen and top drow hero

We struck back, of course, but the dwarven first born was too powerful, so we had to strike elsewhere!

- The lizard 4 hex was taken...which should force our enemies to make some tough choices. (We hope!)
- Our Karagh ran wild, killing another 7 elf units, including their low level hero. Earned a gold medal as well.
- A goblin wyvern rider kills a lizard archer and patrols the ocean.
- While another goblin wyvern rider takes a tower and some resources from the Elves.

Turn sent to Eriksson.

We couldn't kill the Karagh but maybe we can cause some more trouble in this war than we thought a couple of days ago.
hm...wonder where the incarnate is?...

Dark Elves and Goblins - Day 8 + 9

One of our incarnates possessed a syron and killed the top Elf hero. Meanwhile, our other incarnate is moving to reinforce the front.

The dwarven firstborn - especially with having nature's blessing is a very formidable opponent. However, they moved within range of all our reserves.

A green wyvern and 3 storm priests march forth, but do not attack...instead they await their friends. Sister Tersia, an orc cavalry, doom priest and about 8 archers move to join the dark elf troops. Againt them is the dwarven balloon, giant, firstborn and an archer.

The battle rages...the outcome of the war could depend heavily on this battle. In the end, the dwarven firstborn dies with a wimper...stunned by the storm priests, it is easily killed...doing no damage to our troops!

Elsewhere, the Elven capital falls...very little remains to oppose us now...

Turn sent.

Day 9

Surrendered today, no use going on.

Congratulations Sprout!

Sorry I didn't put up more of a fight. I started making mistakes from day one and never got into this game. And with such a skilled opponent there are not room for making more than one or two minor mistakes.

Dark Elves and Goblins -

A mighty feast is held to honor our Karagh. Of all our many warriors, it was the Karagh that did the most damage to our enemies. Amazingly, the goblins only lost three (?) units in the entire campaign. A pair of wolf riders against the Elf nature elemental and the big beetle that briefly captured the lizard 4 - hex. With so many of our brave soliders returning to their nest families, the goblins feel truly fortunate. The same is not said of the dark elves - who were ravaged by the dwarves...it was mere luck that allowed the hasted ballistas to slip through the trees quickly enough to kill the dwarf hero - and they fought bravely elsewhere...but in the end, they failed to stop the dwarven firstborn and it was the goblin forces that had been held back to make up our reserve that had to save the day. And so, the much ridiculed goblins - the "weak" race stands as the elder brother in the destruction and capture of Thinreed Lake.

Although, we rejoice in the victory, we salute our enemies. There were tense moments, and our enemies fought extremely hard - they finally died only near the gates of our capital cities. So, we toast our opponent! An excellent game - thanks much for playing!
