Sprout the Destroyer will try and retake his title from the new champion Enginerd the Barbarian on a most excellent map entitled MAZE slightly modified for 1v1 play.

Sprout as the Azracs battles
Enginerd as the Frostlings

Good Luck!

Frostlings day 1

Which way do we go? Which way do we go?

Frostlings days 2-5?

We continue going in both directions. It's quite fun to see the progress of our enemy. We're moving along similar paths, it will be fun when we actually meet.

Azarcs - Report Days 1-6

Sprout the Destroyer and 3 cavaliers head towards the surface. Along the way a dagger and a ring are found...both somewhat useful (+4 damage between them). Sprout even advances a level which improves his defense. His escorts are being awarded medals as well for their bravery!

The other party (elephant, cavalier and priest) suffered their first loss on the second day as the priest fell to some doom bats. However, we emptied our coffers to enlist the aid of 3 slugs and an archer...they helped to overcome more vermin as that force slowly creeps towards the depths.

Frostlings day 6-7

With our cavaliers and their shiny medals we trade mines with the azracs as we both will have fun above ground on the morrow. Our other troops continue to advance as well.

Azarcs - Day 8

Above ground now...and in our first battle, our hero is hit with a giant's boulder for 7 damage. Ouch!

We, withdraw slightly...

Frostlings

A glorious day for us as we gain new territory above ground. The leprechauns fought fiercely but in the end were destroyed. We just wish our hero would have laid the killing blow, instead our cavaliers gain even more experience.

Frostlings day 9

We have great success above ground and many of our suport troops gain nice medals as we clear out a dungeon and get some nice flyers. Soon we'll be going below ground as it appears the azracs will be too....

We believe that we may soon meet the Frostlings above ground...how powerful they are, we can only guess...and have nightmares about...

A tough night...3 rogues take out an entire force of 4 of our troops. 3 rangers slaughter another 2 precious troops. Fortunately our wyvern survived the night. Sadly we moved our wyvern 2 spaces away from a yaka avatar on guard area. Bummer!

Above ground, we are very much in need of healing!

Frostlings

We continue our advance glad that we were not attacked in the night. We do pick up and build a few valuable troops in the night and we see in the far distance a very powerful cavalier with 1 HP, too bad we can't attack or do anything, it would be nice to not have to deal with him.

Frostlings day 14

Our hero gained another new level and after killing a couple leprechauns will advance yet another level on the morrow. We start putting our secret weapon to work, hopefully we'll have time to develop things before being attacked by the Azracs. I just hope they can't climb into the hills and defeat our wisp that is spying on them.

Azarcs -

Our lands are secure...but the frostling have a seducing hero So they are likely to have a very powerful force - and very soon as well. Things are looking bleak indeed!

Frostlings

The war has begun... but just because our seducing hero is on our side doesn't matter much. Since the Azrac hero has crossed the mountains into our side we think it is time to do the same. However, we don't use the lightning altars as effectively as our enemy does

Azarcs - Day 17

We unleash our other lightning alter (we did not waste them both at once ) and soften up the 9 low level troops the frostling had gathered together. Sprout the Destroyer summons an eagle to scout for him and then runs over the low level troops and finds the seducing hero. Also captures some farms and cities. Will the frostlings dare to send in their 3 cavaliers against our hero without any other support? We shall see.

Meanwhile, we move our stacks of archers and cavaliers towards the enemy hero.

Frostlings days ??-??

We lose our seducing hero to the nasty Azrac hero. We do fight off an invasion of valkyries and unicorns and they are followed up with a couple trolls and bone horror. The enemy cavaliers stomp our troops to the ground on the bottom level too

At least our hero is out of sight of the enemy cavaliers. They're hiding behind a large stack of archers/darters for the time being.

Actually, we easily find the Frostling hero with all three of our cavaliers and several archers as well. Sadly, they all die only barely nicking the Frostling hero.

Frostlings

We are glad to see the Azracs desire to give our hero more experience, at this rate we'll have as much experience as the Azrac hero in about 3 weeks

We thought our troops below would get killed by the cavalier and troops so we pulled our more valiant forces aside to ambush them, we had hoped to weaken them with our archers but that didn't work. Fortunately our morale was boosted at destroying 3 mighty cavaliers up above so we decide it best to attack anyway. The 4th gold medal cavalier of our enemy was wounded and guarded by 2 elephants (1 gold medal) 4 archers and a poisoned swordsman. We attacked with our enchanted gold medal cavalier, our healer, gold medal elephant and pony rider. It was a decisive victory

Sigh...we seem to be losing every battle - so we throw our remaining forces (9 archers) against the frostling hero...with a surprising result.

Frostlings day 20

Arghhh! At least we still have 4 gold medal cavaliers. We'll see how much pain and anguish they can cause and hopefully we can trap that mighty hero of theirs too.

Azarcs - Day 21

Our mighty hero slaughters another half-dozen frostling troops. We have nothing but a small number of level 1 units and our hero...if he is lost - no hope will remain.

Frostlings

We try and regroup bringing our archer stacks closer together. We know we must attack their hero with at least a dozen or more archers to have a chance. We'll see if we can put things together or not. At least we did manage to kill the bone horror and trolls that were causing me problems. Another dozen halflings bite the dust but we have more pressing matters than halflings or orcs right now.

Our hero helps to finish off 9 lepers, then (although wounded) he easily dispatchs 7 frostling archers...up to level 22 now...

The azracs have such fun shooting cannons at the leprechauns, they make such sport of it.

We however suffer greatly at their attacks as well. The indies attack us too and then the Azracs mock us thinking their lives are Boring! Ha, we will show them.....

We are exceedingly happy that the Frostlings did not have the mana to use the lightning alter on our troops guarding the tower fort...if they did, we would not have stood a chance. We of course *do* have the mana reserves and dispatch another dozen low-level frostling troops.

We are glad that our dominating hero caused the azracs to squirm a little bit, however their hero is mighty and cannot be defeated

The frostling dominating hero is dead. Most of the frostling troops on the surface are dead and we control nearly all the resources. Soon cities will be upgraded...of course, we think we may be able to talk with that 30th level azarc hero - wonder how much he is going to cost

We are glad that at least our mighty cavalier can still inflict pain on the azracs.

We battle with orcs now since it's a losing proposition to battle azracs.
