Game on my new untested map THE APPRENTICE II - THE LEGEND OF THE ISLAND GIRL.

Map is quite unique and the aim of it is to lay claim to the Turquoise Islands and ready them for Daniel Thump's new Turquoise Island Casino and Golf Resort. Of course the locals aren't to happy, them being the only surviving tribe of cannabils left in the pacific ocean.

Also the players must investigate claims of this tribe being a fiercely matriarchal (spelling please) society governed by a mysterious magical Island Girl and her four attendants.


Rules: As this is a ladder game normal house rules prevail

Players: Arctic Wolf - Elves (Allied with halfling)
Sprout - Orcs (Allied with Goblins)


Anybody else wanting to playtest the map blind, just let me know!

Day 1 Elves

I notice my allies are spinning their wheels only claiming one watch tower today. We claim the coconut grove, a great builers guild, but two employees refuse to follow orders. They are important to the overall enterprise so I shall not kill them yet, I'll see if I can improve my relationship with them. A certain caretaker needs to be fired though, I can't have him deciding who does and who does not deserve supplies.

We thought we were Orcs...but our town is not inhabited by orcs...rather Elves! Hmm...that means we can produce nypmhs - something none of our competitors can...very interesting

Restarted the game to improve the map a bit. Can't have Sprout loose on the map with nymphs. Anyway the map is fixed and Day 1 and Two went exactly as before.

My opponent feels the misguided employees should be fired. I will let them stay a while and see if relations improve!

Our starting city is no longer elven...and no longer ours!! Some misguided fool thought to take control of the city...we taught him the error of his ways!!

Relations with my co-workers is improving. Hmmm! Do I continue trying to bribe the disgruntled into working for me or do I start offensive action. Also need to fire that Caretaker. So much to do and so little in the way of resources to do it. We here over the seas rumours of Orc Management Corp (ORC) having problems. This suits Elvish Land Foundation (ELF) just fine!!

Our gold is indeed a scarce commodity...we must plan ahead many days to make sure that we do not deplete our stores too quickly!!

We have arrived at the Supply Shed in need of pencils. Sure enough the Caretaker denies our access and has the audacity to try to persuade my employees that he, rather than I, is the boss. Too much risk of losing employees to his charm. I shall bring in a ranged attacker to help with the 'firing'.

Elsewhere the roaming disgrubtled employees do not bother us so we don't bother them. Need more employees and some sort of locksmith such that I can unlock headquarters.

We have little patience with those that disagree with us. The caretaker is dead and our ram is on its way to our capital...we shall show them who is boss around here!

We prefer not to kill those who need to be fired. But preferenced be damned. We needed those pencils! The Elven Lavish Ferry Yaucht (ELFY) Project is well under way. Soon we will all be singing Sailing songs!

The capital defenses are just too strong...especially now that one of the regenedes had joined with them to lead them...we did take our second tower fort today though - so our sight is better now...

Day 6

Our first Yacht is almost complete. Also explored some ancient ruins. Had to trick the beholder away from his treasure but found an amazing Amber Twig. Suddenly Phillip can breathe fire.

Tomorrow we shall see what the Scorpions are hiding. Must heal first though.

Operation Battering Ram is about to begin. The mission is perilous but firebreath might just tip the scales.

Interested to know how you could have taken another watch tower. Built one maybe...but taken??

A horrid day as Zen falls in battle In addition, our ram is lost to the enemy hero...and the capital still have 7 defenders - this is not good.

Another ram needs to be produced...but is this a losing battle?

Orc Management Corp. (ORC) and there newsbriefs are not to be trusted. They tease us with claims of seizing nonexistant watch towers, and claim to lose rams and troops to enemies which have mysteriously joined headquarters instead of roaming the land. This news of course comes from ORC and the very nature of ORC is that their company is not to be trusted.

We shall be wary and continue Elvish Land Foundation's (ELF'S) plodding ways. We trust we shall soon see Lizard Incorpoated Zoning And Reclamation Department (LIZARD) carrying ORC manifestos across the seas to thwart our efforts!

Lol! So we are not to be trusted! Ha! We tell the truth - just not how we achieved the results!

Today, we start production of our first vessel and also bribe a city to join our cause - their forces will be most useful!

As we expected the Orc Management Corp has plans to Corrupt the Lizard Incorporated Zoning And Reclamation Department (LIZARD). Soon the slimy bureacrats will be running about attemptint to shift the balance of this game.

We have continued our explorations and found an amazing ring which embues the wearer with confidence and style. Donning the new apparrel we are sure to convince HQ to give us a passkey tomorrow.

Hmmm! Mystery is revealed. Summon Frog may turn out to be the most important spell in this game. A bummer really as I have a feeling that for once I have been matching Sprout in gameplay only to realize that the luck of the Spellbook may turn the game. Oh well enough Elvish whining. Tommorrow the pass key for head quarters will be ours and our yatchs will begin sailing. I'll see if I can turn Orcish goodluck upon its ear.

One must find one's own luck Match us in gameplay? We shall see - if the Elves manage to take their capital...then they are one up...but I believe that they will fail!

There is a methodology for breaking any wall in any city, against any defenders, with just one little ram, and a methodology for getting the ram safely out of harms way. (Providing you have at least two support troops.)

Also with two Darkgifted heroes, each leveled up to five defense, two archers and a cleric, the battle really isn't so tough. The real question is whether that silly reluctant hero will take my shipyard overnight as I cannot block him out anymore and still take headquarters.

Tomorrow will tell the tale. If the wondering hero takes the shipyard and does not move then he will die. You see the yacht will be ready the day after tomorrow...unless I miscalculated.?
