Sprout has challenged Dan to a WL 1vs1 duel, and Dan has chosen to accept the challenge. Dan chose Emperor of Tun, Elves vs Dwarves and Sprout picked the dwarves.

We spread out and capture a builder's guild, tower fort and mine. Overall, a good day...but what will tomorrow bring?

Dwarves - Day 2

During the night a cruel spider got unduly lucky with its poison and web attacks...our forces are now greatly reduced. In addition the nearby three hexer is filled with unspeakable undead! Grrrr...that filth will need to be rooted out - we can not have such flith so close to our capital! The call for more troops has been sent out!

A good day - we capture the nearby earth node, a mana node and two cities fall under our sway...we are starting to feel like things are going well...must mean something bead is about to happen

Game has been restarted because I accidently started it with the mapmaker mod active. Sorry Sprout, but here we go again with day 1.

Dwarves - Day 1

Again our brave heroes venture forth - this time they were a bit wiser with their studies and they actually know a useful spell! We waste no time in hardening the skin of our heroes so (hopefully) they will be able to withstand much punishment!

We made a brave attempt to kill that dragon, but alas, the arrows did not fly our way today. Five elven braves died and the dragon survived with 8 hp left.

Dwarves - Day 3

The brave dwarven hero strides purposefully through the woods...word is that a powerful node resides among the trees...there! Wait - what was that noise? Two boars charge our fearless hero, the hardened skin was suppose to turn aside even the sharp horns of a wild boar.

Umm...it failed.

On the bright side, we now have an earth node...of course losing the spellcaster sort of makes it a tad less useful...hmm...

Four new elvish recruits attacked the gold dragon today and the battle was close and very exciting. One lonely archer survived with a well earned silver medal on his belt.

Orcs are invading from the north. However, we will lose our 3 hex city during the night...for there is very little that we can do about that human AG that is bearing down on us

The humans and orcs are both strong, but we strike and take a city from the humans. In addition, that AG is no longer a problem

We killed Orvald the Frostling today. He threatened to take our capitol, and we couldn't allow that to happen.

Dwarves - Day 7

We retake an alter from the Orcs, but their cavalry broke through our archer fire and we suffered several losses. Another city is threatened by the Orcs. However, against the humans, we take a small undefended city and manage to overwhelm the human defenses to capture another city.

A solo elephant shows up and it is easily killed. Wonder where the other humans went?

Dwarves - Day 9 and 10

We lost a city to the rampaging humans - they crushed our cavalry that were defending the city and also stole the cavalry we were producing Elsewhere three humans heroes are arrayed against us in the west - but a commando group sneaks past them and captures their capital. In the north a squad of orcs approach lead by a hero...goodie...a little close and they will be in death alter range

We ran into three dark elf heroes today. We blasted them with a poison altar and attacked with our five archers. They did a good job and killed all three heroes. Unfortunately only one of our brave archers survived, but it was definately worth the sacrifice.

Dwarves - Day 11

We miscalculated the resolve of the humans badly. Their heroes lay waste to our cities and now are next to our capital...we are attempting to send in reinforcements...but it is unlikely to be enough To make matters worse we lose badly in fighting with a syron and then we spot another 11 human troops - these lead by a cavalier. Some tough battles are still ahead!

Captured a small human controlled town and city controlled by the frostlings. Opposition has been weak the last few days.

Dwarves - Day 12

Heavy fighting on all fronts. Used a fire alter against the humans - but it was ineffective. Their heroes have driven to the gates of our capital...five archers have reached to man the walls - will our capital fall? Our reinforcements race back to trap the human heroes, but we lose our hard fought gains as more and more human troops pour into the region. The Orcs and Dark Elves are making their presence know as well now. Difficult days ahead still.
