A new WL game on the BIG map Legends of Hectoraze

Enginerd as the Humans teamed up with
Gill as the Halflings

Vs

WW and Unicorn as the dwarves and undead (did I get that right).

Standard house rules, allied victory ON.

We embark on great adventures as we clear a dungeon and pick up great treasure (that regeneration will come in handy )

We will conquer the lands in the sun and then we will descend into the depths and squish the foul beasts below.

We make reasonable progress by clearing out a nearby ruin and spotting a couple of potential targets for tomorrow.

Hah! Typical Human arrogance! We were like you once, all skin and, er, bone - but we've seen the light and gone off into the dark! We'll await your fleshy attempts to squish us with a fixed grin. And you're in for a splatting!

Turn received, belatedly due to isp problems, and played, belatedly, due to pc problems. No action, but we have a plan!

The eagle attacked us in the night but was no match for our horseman. We have fun exploring a cave and the items we recovered will be most useful.

We explored a monster lair & a crypt and picked up a nice ring. Other than that, we aren't being wary enough of the indies.

Dwarves Day 2

Attacked in the night by an eagle, which dies easily. Our party continues on after a hearty breakfast of eagle stew and takes a small city of an evil nature. Another party takes a guarded structure whilst scouts look out for incomes sources, which is not good at the moment.

We easily take care of a nasty highman group, that Titan didn't know what hit him. More cities and mines now belong to us, we're actually quite pleased with the results so far.

We lose a scout and some property overnight to two frogs which we take back and also take another city plus other resources, so things are OK, but we are wary of large independent forces abroad.

A glorious day as we capture another town and kill more indies. Too bad we're really short on cash or we'd buy another spell that will be quite useful for us. Can't complain though.

Grinning, we smack some indie Azracs and Goblins into submission. We meet our first Human, too. I don't he enjoyed the experience very much.

Restart - same old problem with my laptop. It's corrupting numerous file types now so I no longer think it's me shutting the thing down incorrectly. The PC guys can look at it tomorrow.

We laugh at how close we came to frustrating the undead. We were only a few coins shy of being able to buy the city near the undead. Now our scout is dead We'll be back!

From the turn I have, it looks like I played Day 7 and sent Day 8 on to Enginerd, who sends to WW, who sends to GillB, but there are no Day 8 logs (nor a Day 7 from me) so who knows where it is stuck! Maybe WW needs a resend, but I shall start the cycle off with a send of Day 8 to Enginerd.

Took a 2 hex city off undead indies - no losses.

(My PC has become prone to occasional restarts for no apparent reason - unfortunately one occurred in the middle of this turn, whilst I was having me tea! Apologies.)
