Game 1: Azarcs - Day 1
A rough start. We expand, but in retrospect, we sent everyone in the wrong direction! Argh...time to come up with a plan before it is too late! The good news is a hero, Jacob, joined us today!
Game 2: Frostlings - Day 1
We gain a hero, Jacob, and expand a bit, income is negative after we purchase a city to join us.
Have fun! Turns sent.

Frostlings day 2
We made a bold move today in a vain effort to save some cash. We freed the nearby prisoners, the charlatan went to work immediately trying to charm Jacob. After two tries at charming, Jacob died (stupid git). At least the several builders guilds are providing quite a bit of income for us.
Azracs day 1
A lovely lady joins our cause but income is now quite low. We do expand capturing a nearby undead 2-hex. Our beholder isn't much use against the undead so brute force helps us capture the town. We lick our wounds and start migrating and really wish we had enough money to upgrade our capital.

Game 1: Azarcs - Day 2
Things are going from bad to worse...we need some help here.
Game 2: Frostlings - Day 2
Very negative income is cramping us - but some builders guilds will fall tomorrow and that will ease the pain.
Turns sent.

Frostlings day 3
We continue to advance as far as we can. Things go well just wish we had a bit more money.
Azracs day 2
Expansion efforts continue, lack of gold an issue but no complaints so far.

Game 1: Azarcs - Day 3
We suffer badly in some battles...expansion crimped for several turns until we can regroup.
Game 2: Frostlings - Day 3
We mess up royally in searching a ruin...found 2 sandworms...I always remembered sandworms as useless wimps...oh well. Did take a trio of builders guilds - that is good news.
Turns sent.

Frostlings day 4
Another fine day of capturing a few guilds, farms and mines. Fortunately the guards in the dungeons were not sandworms, the archers and swordsmen die one by one easily and we gain some nice shiny armor.
Azracs day 3
Battles go well as we expand out gaining new cities and lands. Darn, we spot yet another undead city in the distance, nothing we can use again.

Game 1: Azarcs - Day 4
We lose badly in one battle. We explore a ruins to find a shield - after getting slaughtered by some undead mummies - and the survivors being cursed and out of action for a while. Ouch! We are not doing so "hot".
Game 2: Frostlings - Day 4
Duh...need some troops that can *hit* attacked a nordic glow with some archers and musket boy...no more musket boy or archers...
Turns sent.

Frostlings day 5
Well, the battles don't go as well as we would have liked, in fact it mostly a complete failure. Alas, we'll rebuild our troops later, at least our hero continues to have fun.
Azracs day 4
Here the battles go quite well as we capture more resources. Gold is getting better for now and we're working on phase two now that things are secure at home.

Game 1: Azarcs
Battles rage across the lands...our heroes gain a level and we push forward. Looking for some good items to help them out. Mana and gold are in short supply...troops are weak - but both are growing. We barely avoid losing a hero...
Game 2: Frostlings
Forces are slowed by lack of healing...smashing through city after city is draining our troops and cities do not provide enough income to keep building armies. Slow progress.
Turns sent.

Another fine day capturing things, could be better but no large complaints yet.
Frostlings
More adventures continue as cash is practically nonexistent. That's okay, we're putting all that gold of ours to good use.

Game 1: Azarcs
Our research has led to the discovery of stone skin...this is good. We search a crypt - a difficult battle against a beholder to discover...a ring of protection (+1 resist) - someone quick! Hold me back, I am so excited! Argh...what a waste of time!
Game 2: Frostlings
The dense forests are slowing us down. Our arm of advance is waiting for healing...that could be a few days!

Game 1: Azarcs - Day 9
We capture a highmen city...do we wait and migrate it? It is a hard decision, but the orders are given and the looting begins!
Game 2: Frostlings - Day 9
Jacob fights a difficult battle in a ruins - taking out a centaur and a nymph to find another crappy item. Soon a priest will be ready and Jacob will once again advance.

Azracs day 9
We press on grabbing up what resources we can. We can see much of the land but we still encounter way too many towns owned by the undead. Most unfortunate.
Frostlings day 10
Our adventures continue as we spread out into the great beyond. The mountains loom in front of us, wonder when we'll see the azracs on the other side?

Azracs
We continue to explore and find new things. Now that the center city is secure we begin to expand out, wonder what we'll find?
Frostlings
Darn Azracs with their wyverns take over one of our mighty lizard cities. Too bad, we'll just have push them out but it will take a few turns to get the troops into the area.

Frostlings day ?-16 or so
The Azracs continue to invade but we push them back in several places. Our mighty drake takes out some advance scouts and our wyverns are no match for theirs. We hold the center 3-hex and are producing mighty armies all over the place. Uh-oh, a mighty azrac hero approaches, boy he looks tough too
Azracs day ?-16 or so
We fumble around a bit here making silly mistakes like lauching poison on a goblin with poison immunity, letting our hero get trapped, losing one of our mighty beholders and a few other things we don't wish to share but all is still going fairly well. Our Yakas will soon enter the foray and crush those pesky frostlings.

Frostlings - Day 17
We crush an Azarc hero in the south, but otherwise, we fall back in the center and the north as they Azarcs push *very* hard against us
Azarcs - Day 17
The enemy ice drakes will soon take a 3-hex from us. Although here we gain ground in the south and are starting to push in the center...in the north is the territory of the ice drakes and we flee for our very lives!

Our mighty drakes begin to have fun. Not only do they retake the lizard 3-hex (lost a mighty yeti, darn) but our other drake starts to cause mischief in the south where the azracs are invading. This should bolster our defenses sufficiently for now.
Azracs
We continue to apply pressure here and there

Frostlings day 21ish or so
We move our drakes about and try and figure out what to do about a nasty syron approaching. Darn those azracs built a boat to help them out.
Azracs
Arghh! I wondered when those dreaded drakes would show up

Our mighty drakes fly through the skies chasing down the enemy heroes. Our wyverns fly about as well. Troops rushing to push back the Azracs all over the place.
Azracs
We flee from the drakes, try and salvage what we can as the frostlings push at us from every direction (sounds familiar).

Frostlings - Day 32
Our drakes approach the last holdouts of the Azarcs...we are concentrating on straving them out right now...no need to be hasty - so we seige there massive forces hiding in their capital (4 yaka avators and friends).
Azarcs - Day 32
Nearly all hope is lost. We have but 2 dim hopes left...and both could be snuffed out at nearly any time!

Well one dim hope of the Azracs has been accomplished as they launch their first Galley at us Now our drakes will have to work even harder to control the skies.
Azracs
Well, we had one dim hope. At least we took out a couple dragons and cavaliers in the process of getting wiped out. We'll see if put together some kind of resistance in our homeland but it's not looking good.

Well we seem to put an end to one of the Azrac hopes as our mighty archers help the drake kill the mighty Azrac Hero (it was a close one). Now we start thinking about getting rid of the last 2 Yakas and the Galley producing city
Azracs
Ugh! We're trying to put together one last hope (but in the end it won't matter)

The last few days have been good for us, the human 4-hex has fallen with a new galley to be produced for us in the morning. The azrac galley is nearby with 4 cursed clerics, we should be able to hold the city. In a desparate attempt the azracs launch a few failed attacks. We will push forward with renewed vigor until they are crushed.
Azracs
Our center city in the mountains is being assaulted and will soon fall. Our great strength in our capital will be assaulted too, just a matter of time. We await these final battles with eagerness as the frostlings are taking their time knowing we can do very little against them now.

Thanks for the games...frostlings won both - it seems the hasted ice drakes were just a bit better than anything the Azarcs could do!
