Day 1, we move out into the darkness, (and the light) We succeed in bringing 2 mighty beasts into our dominion, losing only a new recruit in the process. It is amazing what dumb brutes will agree to while they are stunned... I don't think they even stopped to read the fine print on the enlistment contract! Ha! Won't they be surprised when they find out they get front line duty every battle... We also discovered the vaunted "mass transit system" that some of the locals told us about.
Days 1&2, we also move into the wide world. A large city agrees to join, and its occupants slay the guards of a nearby dungeon. Once freed, the former prisoners go on a rampage, and kill and indie glow and a whole bunch of little guys in tuxes who were trying to get us to remortgage our newly acquired city. On the surface, a couple of old men insist on tagging along, claiming they are "charmed" by our cause and want to help. We can't imagine what use they would be, but one of them does have a rather ancient looking book of magic, so we let them come with us. A long range satelite photo tells shows us a few dwarves struggling through some mountains...we are sure they are up to no good.

Game 1 Day 1 and 2 (Dwarves)
The Spellbook Gods were good so we decide to forgo the three hex in fauvour of a little entanglement of Giants.
The next two days should verify the intelligence of this move. (Or not)
Game 2 Day 1 (Goblins)
Spellbook Gods were not favourable so much research must be done to win the battle ahead. We see Goblins of a different persuasion already marching towards us. How did you get Goblins to the pool so quickly we ask? (But then we already know the answer) Begone Goblins in Purple or you shall die!!

Day 3 We slip quietly through the forest...and pounce!! Ha! 3 highmen archers are dead. We're practicing and wargaming for when we meet the dwarves...we laugh as our satellite reveals them still plodding around on the mountains.
Day 2 Our forces continue to grow. We even found some skeletons who swore to serve us today! Heh...fortunately they didn't read the fine print either, which details how they are going to be sacrificed on our lightning altars when we have no more use for them.

Day 4&5 Knocked out the inhabitants of a tower, convinced a really large guy with a big rock to come along and help us knock down a stone wall where some silly halflings were laughing at us. They aren't laughing any more.
Day 3&4 We managed to build this really cool little machine that helps us knock holes in walls! Using it, we attacked a large city inhabited by some really greedy people. Two of them are now dead, and the other two were forced to sign little papers and are now in our army. We also convinced a large creature with about 4 heads to join us. Tomorrow I think we'll retake our dungeon that some giants seem to have taken control of. I've heard that giant is really good roasted...

More days... Expansion continues. Our giants are going to be given purple robes and golden crowns after we kill all the dwarves. They are doing extremely well. One attacked a frostling city and singlehandedly killed a ballista, wolf rider, archer, shaman, and nordic glow who lived there. One hit point remained! The other distinguished himself as well, killing a bunch of indies. We are now glad that those two old men insisted on tagging along. They have somehow figured out how to store electrity in these gnarled old sticks, and they can shoot lightning from them! It is really cool. Heh...those doom bats didn't think it was all that cool, but oh well, no one cares what they think. Er...thought.
Cleared the dungeon, but unfortunately our brave doom priest was smashed by an ugly brute with a big club. Hehe...you should have seen how fast we filled him with arrows for doing that. Not hard to do after our 4 headed beast cursed him. Found an old ruin and started exploring, only to discover it was inhabited by a nasty Azrac god and his high priest, a short old man in an orange robe. There was also this floating thing that was shooting lightning out of his fingers! He must have stuck them in an electrical socket one too many times. Needless to say, we got out of there fast.

Game 1 Dwarves Day 8
I fear the dwarves dilly dallied far to much and are now suffering the economic consequences.
An Elvan Assault force found our underground refuge and it took almost all of our persuasive abilities to recruit the unwilling soldier to our cause.
Game 2 Goblins Day 8
An increase in mana production will help our cause as will the annexation of a large Frostling city. The underground expansion has finally begun and soon our armies will prosper as now income is no longer a problem.

A black day, as brave Merriwether is laid low by and evil frost drake hiding in a cave. We attempted to run out for reinforcements once we saw the beast, but after half the men had left the cave, the beast settled himself on the one exit space, and we were trapped. We did kill the drake, but the loss of Merriwether is great cause for mourning.
We reentered the old ruin today and dispatched the Azrac god and his ugly old flamethrowing priest. We also convinced the floating guy to join forces with us. Another city fell to our forces underground. Glad to hear the goblins are producing lots of gold, we are about ready to go and take it from them!

A city of bony critters is now being migrated to something more reasonable. Unfortunately one of our old men died in the seige. In other news, our dwarf hero Helmut is starting an invasion of the dwarven land to bring his brethren back to righteousness. The advance party has landed...
Purchased a nice warlord today, and had him start his training by slaughtering the inhabitants of a small azrac city. Underground forces are beginning to move toward the mass transit system to find out what the goblins are up to. Maybe it is time for us to send up a satallite, since we have neglected to do so so far...

The invasion of the dwarven lands has started, but so far all we find is one miserable axeman. We wait to see what evil things the dwarves will do in the night. Mostly just moving me around...

Will my dwarves ever get a move on??
Game 2
A Stone Skinned Hasted Warlord is a wonderful thing!!
And so is a cursed calvelier with a resistance of only 2. (If you want to dominate him that is.)

The invasion of the dwarf lands continues. Otherwise, just moving around today.
It looks like we are about to take the goblin capital, unless they have some hidden troops somewhere that we can't see.

Game 1
Turning this one around as the Dwarven Capitol pumps out units.
Game 2
I just gotta know. Did you find my hiding troops by accident or did you suspect I was using the Syron to shield their view?? It will take longer than planned to retrieve my Capitol.
Anexation of Human Lands almost complete and it looks like my wraith and your horror are about to square off in the Dwarven lands.

Pumping out units eh? We wonder if by that the dwarves mean the 4 boar riders and 3 archers we just smashed with no losses...looks like the dwarven capital is about to fall.
Sneaky goblins trying to hide their nasty wraith and beetle with support stack behind the wizard tower...too bad the little brown dot still showed them on the mini map. Now they are all dead, and their capital is flying a purple banner. Another wraith comes to counter us, but it should be easy for our storm priests to make short work of him. Our main problem right now is the sudden infusion of a large number of elves into our homeland...aack! What shall we do? Troops rush to the defense.

We take aim at a wimpy hero
Game 2
Thanks for generously sacrificing your horror to the Gods that give Gold medals to Calveliers. I guess you didn't want to risk having it dominated next turn. I hope you installed something nice in that Undead town. Ballistas or Riders would be nice..

We laugh as our hero continues to live, while the dwarf hero is the one lying on the ground. Their captial city was also taken today, and a few other troops killed. Unfortunately our brave ranger finally met his demise as well.
The elven invasion is stopped cold, and most of its participants destroyed. And no, we didn't install anything in that undead city for you. Just killed all the inhabitants so you couldn't dominate them.

Game 1
We laugh at the blood splattered remaines of the Elvan Hero Crushed under the club of our Giant.
Then we remember. The Elves have probably already replaced him with a dwarf from a prison we failed to reach. Curses!
Game 2
With our new capitol undegoing final upgrades we ready ourselves for the final push back into our rightful homeland of Goblinwald.

Now we laugh at the blood spattered remains of the large giant we turned into a pincushion. All his little archer buddies lie scattered around as well, along with two of our brave elven soldiers. Now no more dwarves are in sight. Also attacked a large human city with an air galley in it and captured that, with the loss of one soldier. Another soldier was lost taking an azrac city, so we lost four today. Such a tragedy.
Still moving men around, not much happened today. Turns sent

The dwarves are down to their last couple of cities, it won't be long now.
We see massive armies of goblins marching towards us from every directions. What to do? We have nothing that can take on thier mighty stacks, so we hide behind our walls. No spellcasting is really hurting us, and it is only a matter of time until something terrible happens. Plus the elves are in the back yard taking our cities and migrating them to highmen! Nasty woodland critters...what can we do about that? We can only hope that the goblins start running out of money soon.
