Highmen Days 4 & 5
We met a goblin and the next day they declared war. Very unfriendly. We explored a dungeon on Day 4 but had to get out as our hero's life was hanging by a thread. We tried again on Day 5 and were successful.

Our friendly neighbours are walking about, stealing all resources in the area. We will soon have to make war on one of them.

Hmm ... it seems to be Day 7. I've lost a day somewhere.

A good start to the day with the Azracs declaring war. I haven't even seen an azrac yet so not sure what we did to offend them so much.

Other than that, we're still exploring ... there's so much to explore that by the next day, we tend to have forgotten where we were going

I've now seen an azrac. In fact, it took one of our mines. Very inconsiderate as gold is so vital to our plans ...

Had to make another tactical retreat from another dungeon having killed only one of the defenders. Ah well, tomorrow is another day.

Apologies for the restart - I froze in a castle ruin and had to restart. I'm avoiding the ruin for now.

We try the dungeon again. Kill one more unicorn and wonder how many are left ... another tactical retreat.

*sigh* Now the orcs hate us too and an orc hero has trapped a small party underground. I doubt they'll survive the night. They did manage to kill off the final unicorn and rescue a very interesting prisoner though.

Oh wonderful, now the lizards and dark elves have declared war on us. We feel very hated.

We are stealing many resources from the Goblins, but fear there will be tears before bedtime when they notice.

We killed a lizard hero who was taking a short cut through out land.

Our scouts discovered an undead unit very close to our capital today when it was too late to put up a good solid defense. This could mean trouble.

We are having similar trouble with lizard and azrac units closer to our capital than any highmen units. The aggressive enemies are stifling any attempt for us to expand.

The undead unit was caught and killed today, before it could cause us any harm. The lizards keep showing up everywhere too, in spite of the fact that we keep pursuing them.

We thought we'd destroyed the Goblins but there must still be some lurking. Elsewhere the Dark Elves, Lizards & Undead are taking resources from us as fast as we gather them.
