Quiet start - no heros so we will need to take care of our few units.

We advance out hoping to buy up some nearby cities and build up our forces....

Dwarves & Elves Days 1 & 2

Still no heroes, but some resources carefully gathered.

(Interesting how my elves are much further forward than my dwarves - the elves can move further each turn and their 3hex was a lot cheaper than the dwarves' one, which I still can't afford).

Our forces move out as we quickly buy up as much as possible, our forces doubled in size quickly (not that we didn't start with much anyway). Income will improve and we hope to buy more of the nearby cities soon.

Dwarves are still saving gold to buy friendship whilst crawling to a dungeon where they have hopes of finding some free friends.

Elves had a fairly disastrous dungeon exploration. They won, but it was a pyrrhic victory.

We had some fun adventures today exploring. Income is getting better, more towns fall under our control. Things are looking up

Another fine turn, we do meet some neighbors.. Income continues to get better as we grab more resources and expand out. We did lose our mighty horseman in a battle, rats.

Both took minor resources but now need to move a long way to find anything else.

A fine day as we free a hero from a dungeon... The mean valkyries gave us some nice experience too

Elves couldn't reach their destination either.

Our combined efforts are paying off. Expansion continues and we can see far and wide as we capture a nice reflection pool, no sign of our true enemy

Dwarves are still slowly trying to reach their objective. Check back in several days.

Elves on the other hand ... are doing much the same.

Another fine day of battles, we're sure there will be more tomorrow. Our territory is expanding out rapidly and resources are coming in quickly (but still not fast enough). We have spotted several races out there in the distance (and some closer). Next few days could get interesting....

Dwarves are still ambling along to go rescue a maiden. This may take a while.

Elves - the Highmen came into our land and took the city we were waiting to take and the Goblins decided to take some of the resources we had almost reaached. Not very friendly actions.

A fine day of exploration and advancement of our cause. Tomorrow we hope to free another hero stuck in a prison (probably should have done that already, oops). Things continue to go well and income is good but still not enough to buy all the cities we desire...

Dwarves are slowly getting themselves together. Still takes a while to do anything though.

Elves are getting close to finding a hero.

Several battles today, mostly with indies but the number of our enemies grows every day. We do rescue another hero today.

Dwarves - a hero appeared today Sadly it took all the money I'd saved for city purchase We'll soon release a hero too ... waiting for a few more units to prevent a massacre. We tried to clear a ruin, ready for our hero. That was a mistake.

Elves - didn't get a hero ... but then we don't have any gold Still a day away from rescuing one too ...

It would be nice if a hero joined us, we'll settle on the ones we've got for now (but wish we had another one...)

Battles continue with several races, there sure are many wars going on right now that's for sure.

Dwarves & Elves

Dwarves - a good day, all in all. St Josephine was released and we bought the city we'd been saving for. However, we're going to have to decide soon what to do about the Halflings who are getting altogether too numerous and too nosy.

Elves - a reasonable day too. We released Leeta, but had several losses in doing so. We bite the bullet with the Halflings and declare war. Probably not the most sensible thing we've done as they're very widespread ... but they're everywhere we want to be.

It is difficult to remember all the battles that are taking place. War is everywhere it seems. The Goblins and Undead seem to be under control but now things are heating up with the humans and frostlings, lizards, highmen.....

Dwarves - everywhere we go, the Halflings have got there first ...

Elves - easy come, easy go ... our hard won heroine was murdered by a syron who appeared from nowhere. It's going to be very hard to get rid of.

A fine day as we capture more goods. Things are progressing well for us we think, income is good, and we hope to be building mighty armies before too long....

Dwarves start moving outside their own lands.
Elves are still watching the syron ... not a happy thing to do.

The battles continue all over the place. We see lots of highmen armies gathering... we may have to retreat and regroup, we'll see what they do. Moving troops around, teleporting to fun places, lots going on...

Dwarves seem to be doing better than elves, despite their slow start. Halfling possessions and units are being slowly mopped up.

Elves are badly in need of a hero ... and a knight in shining armour to come and kill off the syron.

Way too many things to do with not enough money. Goblins beat us to a town we really wanted, now we'll have to fight them, arghhh. Battles going well for us.

There weren't too many battles today but we sure did move our troops about. Our territory is growing quickly, we hope it is quick enough to build up strength to fight our adversaries.
