Another fine match on North and South

Gill as Azracs
vs
Enginerd as Frostlings

Standard house rules, leaders off, ladder match (right?), let the fun begin.

Frostlings day 1

We had a great adventure today. The battles all go well for us and our heroes are gaining much needed experience.

Azracs

A quiet start, and a timely reminder that using FC is not a good idea in this game as some units are lost to seemingly weak enemies.

Frostlings day 2

We were attacked in the night, lost a cleric (arghhh!). We will recover, tomorrow should be interesting as we will try and capture an air node, should be fun...

Azracs Day 2
We managed to survive the day unscathed and with a few extra resources.

Frostlings day 3

Well, the eagles were a bit much for us so we decide it best to regroup and try again another day.

Azracs Day 3
A few more resources gathered while building strength for slightly more major attacks.

We killed those dreaded eagles, magic research took a giant leap forward

Very careful exploration taking place.

We continue to explore and expand. Things go well for us in the night (we think) only losing one archer to all those nasty wolves. More adventures tomorrow...

Azracs Day 5

We, too, were attacked by wolves, but luckily it was a strong enough stack to kill them off with no losses.

The bat attack went well for us, no losses. We also thought about exploring a crypt only to find it deserted (and we remember AW fixing that a loooong time ago, oops ). Other than that things go well.

Azracs Day 6

Our bat was dealt with successfully as well. In other action, we visited a wizard's tower and spent a little gold.

Another slow day as we move our troops around a bit

Azracs Day 7
More careful expansion and one small victory. Tomorrow we'll have a go at the eagles.

We kill more wolves, grab up more resources and prepare for a big battle with a demon.... (and we have a super secret plan in the works, shhhh).

Azracs Day 8

A quiet day - not enough legs to reach the eagles today.

Frostlings day 9

We are pleased to see more territory become ours today, money is good and things are going well. We hope the Azracs like our little surprise

Azracs Day 9

Surprise definitely not appreciated. We've had to change our plans and divert one of our forces ...

Well, the nasty elves gave us a surprise in the night as they attacked us, arghh

We expand more and have several mighty archers ready to go slay a dragon...

Losing money hand over fist thanks to the Frostlings unexpected grab of our resources. Moving as fast as we can to retake them.

It would really have been nice to have about 6 archers waiting for the hero stacks to come attack. Instead (because of the silly elves) we must retreat, but where shall we go???? We'll think of some way to cause mischief..

Not the best day. Had to disband some low level units because of the gold situation. However, things will get better. Azracs can rise from the ashes.

We have fun evading the azracs, our troops will soon be eliminated in that part of the world, we'll see what happens then but hopefully our little diversion has slowed their progress enough for us to gain the momentum on our side (hehehehe).

Apologies - I saved Charlatan & this one, played Charlatan, ran out of time, went to cook/eat dinner, came back, saved this one again without thinking ... which is presumably what caused the restart ...

It would be nice if we had progress to slow - we seem to be spending our time having to retrace our steps ... and disbanding units ... then remembering we've forgotten something ...

We have fun today killing a dragon and freeing a nice hero. Tomorrow we'll explore the crypt and see what kind of item we can gain from the experience. Our boat still bothers the azracs..

Argh ... go away!

We don't have a lot of plans, and those that we do have are being messed up completely by one archer & one boat.

Our boat and archer continues to have fun at the Azrac's expense

On other fronts the war with the goblins is heating up, I think the undead troops are out there causing grief. We'll see what happens next...

We curse under our breath at boats and Frostlings in general. Meanwhile, we take back our human city, as there's no way we'd be able to afford it for months. We take a small town and kill a demon.

The Goblins are coming at us with great force, warlords and all kinds of beasts, hopefully we can hold them back.

Our boat continues to have fun...

Was going to buy back my disbanded units today, but one has vanished completely ... I blame the Frostlings. Most of our problems have been their fault.
