Good luck on this map everyone.

Just as a note: I have noted some exceptions to the Standard House Rules in the readme.file and in the story for the scenario. Enginerd indicated to me that the special rules should apply for this map, but I urge him to make a posting to verify this as he may have changed his mind since we spoke (actually emailed).

Exception number 1:
No Fighting in the Wizards Manse until day 30. The spells are meant to be used by all.
Exception number 2:
The use of Teleporters guarded by fire is prohibited except to return to your own kingdom. On day 30 all fires expire.

The no fighting rule is not meant to include AI opponents who cannot read my rules.


I urge Enginerd to clarify whether he intends for these exceptional rules to apply to this game.

A fine and glorious day for the elves. We buy and bribe our way to many armies that are primed and ready to serve us. Income is good and will improve tomorrow. We hope to get a few more troops to join us in our valiant cause. Things are looking good.

Another fine day, we charm/seduce our way to more armies and are well prepared to face one neighbor...

Elsewhere we wish we had more money to buy another town or two... charmers are rushing to help us subdue them instead.

Not sure why we're exploring a far off magical place... no money to buy spells but we do get to meet others!

We continue our explorations... and see a wee halflings across the waters... we wave

The Azracs declared war on us... figured as much.

We meet the halflings on an island... silly of them to steal one of our mines...

All else is well enough.

With the forces of Evil on our side, theres only a few places we can attack...

Not the best of days... the Halflings are being troublesome... the humans declared war on us and our relations have tanked the Azracs are mounting a mighty force... could get really ugly

And we failed in our attempts to charm another hero that showed up....
