Goblins Day 1:

The sneaky gobbos sneak about a bit.

Elves Day 2

Rushing about everywhere! Well, as many places as little halfling legs can go. Actually, I think I am halflings, not elves.

Goblins Day 2:

Taking this and that and noticing some weird halfling - elves in the center of the map.

Now lets get this right. HALFLINGS Day 3.

Flying around skirting half a dozen gobbos. Need to recruit some troops fast!

Goblins Day 3:

Chasing after those Halfling eagle riders.

Restart message due to the reinstallation of windows I expect.

Halflings Day 4.

Got to be some battles soon!

Goblins Day 4:

Captured two mines and a tower from the halflings. But still no real battles have taken place.

Goblins Day 5:

Regrouping after the attacks of the halflings.

Yes, dancing around. Who's going to make the first real move?

Goblins Day 6:

Some more minor skirmishes. But Ham Binger and his friends are to far away to be attacked.

Ham Binger can be attacked now.

Goblins Day 7:

The sneaky goblins are scared of Ham Binger and run away very very fast(ish).

We wonder whether the sneaky goblins are laying a sneaky trap, but we edge forward anyway.

Goblins Day 8:

The goblins finally attack Ham Bingers party and get killed rather easily.

Now that looks decisive. But I wonder whether there's a gobbo hero sneaking around. Let's go find out!

Goblins Day 9:

The Goblins wish they have a hero. But only a few darters remain.

Well, I'm a comin to git yer!

But if you didn't have a hero from the start, that's not made it a very fair game. Particularly as I think the gobbos are the worst position. It's not over yet, though!

Goblins Day 10:

Just waiting for the Halflings to attack now.

It doesn't matter that I didn't get a hero. It just made things a little more challenging thats all .

Goblins Day 11:

Gorthak the Black joins our cause, although I think he's a little late to be of any help .

You are correct! Two stone skinned eagles took the brunt of the darter attacks and the remaining stack and half plus one hero then took out all the darters, leaving your hero alone to make a final short-lived contribution

I think it might have been possible for me to win (despite the fact I had no hero most of the time ) if I hadn't attacked your stacks in the middle of the map.

You might well be right. On such a small map as this, meeting early with virtually all your troops together means the one who attacks first is at a big disadvantage.

Be interesting to see how the rematch goes! First turn set up and sent.

Halflings Day 1:

No hero for the halflings. Just taken a few minor structures.

Gobbos Day 1 - ditto!

Halflings Day 2:

Spreading out into the small wide world.

Spotted a flying hairfoot already!

Halflings Day 3:

Captured one of the central mines. But there was a medium sized band of goblins around so the little pony rider galloped off.

On Day 3 gobbos sneak around watching hairfeets slouching off in the east.

Halflings Day 4:

Noticed a sneaky bomb heading for one of the halfling cities.

They sneak us here, they sneak us there....

Gathered some forces together and will try and head off those cowboys at the pass!
