Not a bad first turn. Took a node and a mine. Not bad, no casualties.

Progressing nicely. Day 2 sent.

Day 3 sees a nice little battle in a dungeon. Came across two human muskateers. Those things are evil when they hit. Fortunately, they only killed a swordsman. and we release some valuable prisoners.

Day 4 sees some more property acquired.

sorry for the delay. Took a human 4 hex but suffered some losses. Also explored a nice little cave and found some good stuff. Ladies of Pain are very dangerous though. Hmmm anyway,

Looks like I'm a bit behind. Don't plan to take my human 4 hex for a couple of days. Watch out for strong indies once you get past the 4 hex!!

Another human city falls, and another hero joins a successful cause! We see evidence of dark forces through a looking glass.

Hero joins but I dont really hold out much hope for this game. It seems the guardian of the prison where our good units are is a syron. This is so not good. Oh well, carpe diam.

That's tough luck with the syron. You need to get a good few archers in front of it. Peg him down a few hp with them, as he does them in, then try your luck. Have a go with the heavy cavalry, then your hero (if you still have them). With entangle strike, even if you haven't got it weak enough, with a bit of luck you will immobolise it then it should be easy. On the other hand, if it goes badly, you could end up throwing the whole game! Hope that helps

Now back to minding my own business. We capture another 4 hex, but eye up a nasty cavalier party who might cause us a bit of grief as we are somewhat exposed.

Took a 3 hex with no loss and looking south, or is it west I am looking? HMMMMM

Cavalier raiding party caused some damage overnight, but only to a pony rider. So now we deal with them! We have a shiny new hero with seduction! So we try to get the cavalier on our side, with no luck. So big hero kills it. Now where to go?

Not very good day. Freed the prisoners from the dungeon, but by now I doubt how helpful they will be. Lost a hero and my gold medal cavalry to a suprise attack from some stupid cavaliers. ERRRRR. Stupid syron is going to cost me the game.
