i had my level 3 city and i had conquered the near human lv4... and i lost all in one turn! :S

If you want to replay your old Day 6 I don't mind. The thing is that it doesn't matter how many buildings or cities you have, if you lose all of your units, then your race is defeated. I realize you had two cities, but if you only had one stack and it got defeated "overnight", then it's curtains for you.

If anyone is interested in a game on this map, then please post here with your preference of race -- please list a couple of races in order. I've edited the map to give each race a few starting heroes. I believe the races available are Dwarves, Halflings, Orcs and Goblins. The game(s) could be 1-vs-1, or 2-vs-2 if there is enough interest.

Day 3 or something of the Halfling Empire

Contrary to the other races opinions, we are having quite a good time. Sure, our farms produce 12 less income than needed to have an increase in gold, but the inevitable capture of a nearby human 4-hex will soon remedy that. We begin to look to the horizon, yearning for contact with another organized race.

Day 4 of the Halfling Empire

War has begun. The foolish orcs attacked the orcish city, then their hero fled from the sight of our forces. He was destroyed, as was the small remaining garrison. We fear a trap, however. Knowing no orcish assasins could have been trained by this point increases calms us slightly, yet how could he have been so foolish as to do this? Did he underestimate us? Did he think we were weak as is the rumor? Did he judge us by our size? Whatever the reason of his stupidity, he has paid. ^Turn_Sent

My apologies ... it opened as a restart again. Has anyone ever managed to discover why this happens randomly to some people?

As for today ... we explored some more and bemoaned our lack of gold and mana. We almost bought a city's loyalty but they wanted too much gold and the inhabitants are too useful to attack.
