Goblins - carried out an attack on a vault with even chances of success and came out with only a single swordsman lost and a valuable spell found.

halflings - heading out to conquer the vault.
Only difference is that the stack is twicce the strength of the goblins.

Moving asingle stack can seem pretty boring at times, especially on such a barren land...nothing different between the two games except I explored a magic vault on the halflings side.

Well, final victory it won't be. But if you lose your wizard in the battle (even if you defeat me), it will be my victory. That would be a strange turn of events, indeed.

P.S. Restart message generated this turn. First download of the file failed halfway thru...nothing this turn but troop movement...and capturing some cities and a node...but all were defenseless and plainly visible at the start of the turn itself.

This game is prety much going to be "from here to there and back again". I spent the first half of the game walking straight across the board to my oponents home, and the second half walking back.

Yeah...it was a good stand.
But if it had stood, or I had had the sense to think earlier, a concealed water elemental would have been knocking on your door in 2 turns.
As it is she will now be roaming the lands lost in her devotion to me...and will probably take refuge in your water node.

It was a good game though...exchanging starting places and alignment is something I am seeing for the first time.

He would have met with the 3 trolls I had there at that point. Probably not favorably.

I've done exchanging starting positions before, but nevery having the alignment shift that dramatically. That was tricky. (My alignment now is neutral, just to let you know.)

So would you like to play something else, or do you have enough games going at the moment?

If you are looking to try another new one, I was thinking of trying Winds of Change. we can have our allies as emporer AI's or each take two sides. Its referenced here.

Two sides are Humans and Elves vs Orcs and Undead.

If you'd rather do something more tried and true, I could go for a "Valley of Flowers" game or a "goldrush mountains" game.
