Tempest, Day 1

I have returned from the void, determined that my Draconions will rule these lands. A Frostling champion has offered to lead my armies, and he has prove a good guide. He has led us to a deserted inn, haunted by long-dead ghosts. Inside, a fallen hero in a state of undeath. He has joined us, though I would not turn my back on him if I were them.

Mab Turn 1

Sent out scouts to get an idea of what was around, so far...not much. Maybe tomorrow will bring better luck.

I have sent a scout into the snowy waste. It is perilous, but rich with magic resources.

I continue to scout my surroundings, nothing of interest...yet.

Well, I have lost the undead hero, and nearly the Frostling, in a poorly-conceived battle with dryads. Thankfully, some troops survived, though I am not sure their holy tree was worth the effort.

On a brighter note, the Frostling is now carrying a ring of potent magic, the very thing that saved his life.

Licking our wounds and continuing to explore.

A human ranger has offered us his sword, and I have accepted. The humans and draconians have long fought alongside each other. Together, my two champions are heading to the surface.

Nothing much seems to be around me. I continue to scout.

We have killed two dwarves and taken control of one of their machines. Unfortunately, and assault on an earth node killed two of my units and nearly my heroes because of the earthquake.

A visit to a rogue's shack has allowed us to recruit new units to replace the fallen. Meanwhile, my scouts are finding vast tracks of uninhabited land.

My scouts have been finding refugees travelling through the western mountains. We have already taken in some frostlings, who wish to return to the snowy waste where my hero is exploring. Still no sign of any settlements.

My scouts have spotted an elvish outpost, as well as one of Mab's scouts. We attacked the scout by didn't succeed.

These scouts in my territory are becoming a pain. We must teach the person resoponsible a lesson.

Lesson learned. I am being harassed constantly by independent patrols. We just defeated a strong frostling patrol, and now a powerful group of dark elves has entered my territory.

(after much quiet)

Moving through the mountains towards the independent draconions. No doubt they wish to join us, though the price will be steep.

Major hero bashing...one for you, two for me.

My empire is slowly shrinking. I think it is only a matter of time before I meet the great Orc in the Sky.

I have a feeling that I will not be able to recover from recent attacks but will play a few more turns just to see what happens.

Can you resend the last turn? I haven't gotten one to go with the last update.

My hero took control of the other draconian city. Their price was just too high.

Moving in on the goblins...they have managed to mount a strong defense on their surface city.

Well my time is up, no need in further prolonging the agony.

Good game.
