After entertaining the human swordsman with a show of strength, my band of ice rogues re-embark onto their ship.

Do we have a sub for Thundarr? Anyone know? Let me know and I'll find a sub if we're not already covered by the ever vigilant and helpful Hiranu.

Bump

It looks like your back Hiranu. Can you help us? I'm posting to the sub link.

Thundarr's throne has been stolen in a bloodless coup that has left his kingdom in slight disarray while the new regime acclimates itself to its holdings.
But is this new ruler a rightful leader, or a pretender to the throne? Only time will tell.

turn can be sent to aow2sm@gameknave.net

It seems that the ease of my usurption of Thundarr's lands was no accident. My predecessor had spread his forces too thin and was unprepared for aggressive advances by a neighbor. No wonder he fled the capital like a mongrel.

The aggression previously mentioned was indeed a surprise; I had not been in power even a full day before unruly savages began infiltrating my borders and befouling my females. They will be dealt with swiftly.

(Had a few restarts at the beginning of my turn; has everyone taken a peek at my domain? heh heh)
turn sent; accidental game crash at the end but it seemed to have saved my turn so hopefully no restart.

I challenge some marauding archons to retake their tower.

Balthamos has a ship in my waters and he hasn't even sent a hello to justify his trespass.

The marauders move ever closer to my capital where they will be punished for their trespasses.
And there's a Mr. Death or something at the door. He's come about the reaping? I don't think we need any...

(ts; 2 restarts due to crashes from manual battles with indeps. gahh! manual battles suck!)

The archons attacked as predicted and were put down just inside the gates. The expedition looks for more challenges.

The intruders have been handily dealt with at the steps of the capitol, as befits a proper spectacle such as this attempted invasion. The heads of two heroes will adorn my walls for many months, and all holdings stolen by the marauders have been recaptured, with interest.

Edit: and I must mention that a peace treaty was offered directly before the attack, but it was rudely declined and so i had no choice but to begin the slaughter.

I declare war on Lyra. She had asked for peace last turn and I ignored the offer. There was a plum hanging out there that I couldn't resist picking.

Declaring war on someone you never met just because they offered peace? What a cheeky old fart! That city you took was kind of valuable. I'll have to return the favor soon.

Playing "Musical Towers" with Min. Won't be long until that tower remains mine.

Tried to take a city from "A Mr. Death Or Something." Those skeletal archers are some good. AND my dumb crusher fled the field. *sigh* gotta teach that boy a lesson. he could have carried the day, now he gets his scales ripped off.

And forces are already gathering to strengthn my northern front.

The underground front goes not so well. Tried once more to take one of Death's cities but to no avail.

Captured a filthy goblin city that was harboring manticores. The manticores are no more. bwahahaha. Lost my hero, though. *sniff* Curse the quick combat system!

I attacked Lyra's force that had recaptured his northern town with just my air elemental and his slither killed it with practically one spit, even though he had poison immunity! Not good.

The second battle went a bit better.

Uhhh, yeah. quite a bit better. 6 vs 6 (and not shabby units, mind you), and frosty only lost 1 gggrrrrrr. now my capitol is naked and ready to pluck.
In better news, i'm spanking the goblins and tigrans nicely and my dwarven forces repelled death, even though a berserker went sort of berserk.

Yes, thankfully Lyra's troops chose to challenge my force in the field rather than wait for my atack behind the city walls. I saw it as a risk but the best opportunity and it has paid. A pair of my ice queens sit on Lyra's throne.

Unfortunately Lyra has escaped my icy claw.

err, yes. I rode out to spank you for taking my cities and all i did was level up 3 of your dudes.

NO way! my dwarves keep revolting underground!! I do NOT get it. the city is listed as stable, but everyone comes out of there all pissed off.

Death is sending ballistas up to the surface. maybe i should let them deal with the frostlings before i take them out.

News travels fast in the Stone Sea and all soon here that the wizard of the Draconians was laid low upon the waters of the icy bay.

Thanks for subbing in jugglervr.

The Draconian army lost it's wizard, but that doesn't mean they're not angry. They disembark from their ship and agressively attacked me.

And then there is Balthamos who has seen fit to declare war on me. I don't blame him as I haven't been too nice, out of fear for his powerful reputation.

restart from re-partitioning of drive over a weak ago, see all my other games.
