We have approaced Nimue's capitol. It is too heavily guarded for our forces.

Arachna has a sizeable force marching on Nimue's capitol as well. Her undead dragons have little to fear from the herbalist's poison. We are leaving the area.

Fangir's hero and her army wiped out. A load of magic items collected. I only hope my overtures to Nimue will prevent her from sallying forth from her capital and ending my hero's celebrations.

A critical loss for my side. Elme and her trove of magic are gone, along with our human village. I can only hope Nimue takes advantage of an opportunity.

Arachna

PHEW! Though Nimue refused my offer of peace, she did keep her considerable forces within her city walls, enabling my hero and all his newly acquited kit to slip away

It will be hard to build up a new army, but we are trying.

Arachna

Building up attack force.

I am feeling vulnerable. We are spotting Arachna in too many places, and need too much time to rebuild our forces.

Arachna

I think Nimue is beginning to regret not killing my hero, jucging by how many overland spells she has thrown at him!

We are nibbling at Arachna's heels. We have also met Yaka for the first time.

Recaptured dark elven outpost, during which, a dwarf hero took quite a shine to my succubus ..

The battle is not going well for the dwarves.

My own hero is coming for me. These succubi are far more effective in battle than I thought.

Didn't know whether to attack Fangir this turn or wait until next, when all my forces could join in. I grasped the bull by the horns and went for it!

Fangir is no more.

Hi Eric

Good game! Did those succubus kick ass or what!

posted 04-22-04 04:18 PM EDT (US)     66 / 68
Man, I had no idea they were so good (of course, being backed up by bone dragons didn't hurt.) I'm not sure there was any point in that game where I was ahead of you. Well played. You up for a new one?

I've just counted, I'm in 18 games (though I'm about to die in a couple of them)! That's without the new random ones hiranu is bound to sort out any day now!

Yeah, go on, another one can't hurt

Any preference? Random again, or shall we try a 'named' map this time. I don't mind so long as its not a small map.

posted 04-22-04 07:30 PM EDT (US)     68 / 68

I'd rather stick with a random one, if you don't mind. I've created an extra-large map. Never done one of those before, but we both can post frequently, so it should be ok.
