Everything is eerily quiet. I get the feeling it is a calm before a storm. I think my rivals are getting ready to strike, but where?

I am building and doing some exploration in the underground, I found an unoccupied draconian village and occupied it.

A fine day of waiting.... for the storm.... may it be a frosty and cold one

We recaptured the underground Draconian City and moved a force in.

My turns should be more regular as I am now moved into my new place

Not sure what happened this day, but I am sure I have played it. My last turn is Day 35 for Artica - I can resend if needed.

By the way enginerd, could you put a password on the game? I have opened the save game file a couple of times just to check if I have received the turn and not played it yet. When I do sometimes I am opening the normal game file and your turn comes up. I try very hard not to look at anything you are doing and quit right away!

We stage our troops... again...

Another day of fox and goose. We do have something brewing though.

Perhaps if we sit a larger force on the Node we can keep it.

Still fighting over a stupid node... we also lash out in other areas at Nimue.

Our Defenders were defeated at the Node yet we took a couple of Frogs down with us. Artica also has another stack moving towards us.

Nimue has defended his outpost city before our flyers could capture it... we'll think of something while we busy ourselves with killing frogs and taking that fire node back... again... which we'll probably lose in the night... again...

Still playing cat and mouse... here and there...

Found a Frostling City occupied by a small force of Nimues.

Yea! and Boo! Mixed results as I have eliminated a force of 3 of Artica's Wyvern riders, but I lost a hero in the process. In a normal battle he would have hung back and cast a spell, etc. but in an automatic battle, he was killed first round. I made an error not casting static shield on him as I might have stunned the wyverns just enough to survive.

Elsewhere, nothing much, is Anon's dead hatchling an advance scout for a larger force?

Nimue killed my hatchling as I had thought. Artica also killed a hatchling in the caverns. The question is which way will Artica's stack go. Either way we shall prepare a defense against it.

The manticores fly away home as I see 2 more fliers in the distance, too far from my home though, not worth chasing.

Elsewhere I recaptured the central watch tower to have a look around, all seems quiet.

All quiet with Anon... we own the fire node again... will probably lose it in the night

Recaptured the Fire Node from Artica.

Excellent one less froggy to pay upkeep on - how thoughtful of Anon to kill my scout.

I captured an underground node that was undefended.

I sure could use a decent hero to lead my surface forces - a shame Artica killed my lase one. Anyway my pit guards and manticores do link up and move south. Is there a force around strong enough to stop them?

Another fine day of waiting around....

We spotted a small party of Nimue's on the surface and sprayed them with a pesticide. Elsewhere, Artica's frog beat up our frog.

Not much happening... just waiting for a few more manticores to show up

Here comes Nimue.... wonder what else he will throw at us besides those nasty manticores?

This time I attacked Artica's Frog with two of my own Frog's yet I couldn't win that battle.

We hope all our armies fight as well as our magic frog

News is heard that Nimue has amassed an army at the doorstep of Artica. We capture some of Nimue's resoures. Nimue seems to have guardians all over the place.

A great day! My forces converged on Ghundad from the underground, above ground, and the shadow world.

I sustained relatively few losses and managed to capture her capital and remove her power base on this land. She will trouble me no more.

Now I have only Anon to deal with, I will begin the mobilization and destoy a froggy that strayed to close.

We have been defeated...

News of Artica's defeat comes with mixed feelings as now Nimue will be focusing all of her attention against us. Our plan goes into action to defeat her.

I took Anon's capital city yesterday, but he managed to escape to Artica's old tower.

But that could not last so today I took back Artica's tower and assumed dominance over the land.

Victory!

Thanks for the game to both of you - it was very enjoyable and it's nice to have a multiplayer game that does not bog down for weeks at a time.

If either of you are ever looking to start a non random multiplayer game let me know I would be interested.

Nimue was too much as she had captured my capital and recaptured the tower city that I had snuck into in the Snow lands. A good victory.

I am up for another game. Are you wanting a scenario game and/or a edited random map game? I sent an Email as well.
