Turn started with a strange restart message, which bothers me since I havent restartet, dropped out or done anything unusual except loading my turn, ending and sending. Strange.

New post friday: Im traveling this weekend. It will mean two things: 1) I might not be able to send my turns in due time - next turn expected may be as late as sunday evening. 2) I'll change playing from my desktop/homecomputer to my laptop - which will create a restart message.

My opponent is clearly shaking in his pants, due to my surprise attack last round. I can hear his fearfull screaming all across the mountains "the birds, the birds, stop them, kill them" - but to no avail, there shall be no remorse, we shall be victorius and so, I have given the order to attack attack attack, an all out charge on all fronts.

Sending one air elemental to take his north city summon an extra one next turn...
Moving with my hydra's , heroes and butcher towards the enemy castle...
exploring everything north with my pitface , knigth , hydra and beetles..
About to destory his boat with my water army..

Congrats.

Summery - things I tried learned:

The beginning was good. In the midgame I took a chance, selling structures to buy units (repaeter balistas, catapults, knights etc) in order to go for a quick win. Sadly it just wasnt enough to break through his defenses. I ended up woth to large an upkeep, and no building options in my cities. Downhill from there.

My enemys flying units/summon creatures were to many and one bit to dangerous compared with my own lousy birds. I never got enough money to conquer the underground.

And as so, Im now completly out of the tournement, Next year maybe. May the meanest player win.
