Dark Elves

Our strategy of sitting back and watching our ships get sunk one after another has worked very well

The non-ending stream of fairies is doing an admirable job of breaking the timbers of my ships. Recently however, our second Wyvern was produced and it quickly dispatched a fairy...we hope that with its help perhaps we can finally invade the Elves.

The loss of our two 8th level, and our 14th level hero was hard to take, but we struggle onward!

Great news! We sailed over to the island of hero slaying, destroyed the builder and seduced the lizard. We continued with a sea battle which sank yet another transport ship with a guard, and finally killed a foul goblin that was left alone in the forest.

We made ourselves look silly by running full tilt into some city walls.

Things could be worse...we just are not sure how! Our heroes killed, our capital razed to the ground, our ships sunk, our troops seduced by a little nymph!?! Argh...once we prepared to invade the elves, now we must prepare to defend against invasion!!

Things would be worse for the dark elves if they didn't have a spell casting hero, a freak of nature called Karagh, the whole human island with 4hex city and 3 hex cities, and if the azracs didn't harass the good elves.

So just wait, it will get worse!

Days 25, The Elves Report
Kylar joined us, and we managed to take the lizard city from the dark elves this time - with the help of a fairy, of course.

We do not like fairies

We are starting to put plan F into action (plans A-E were foiled by them nasty elves with them horrible fairies!)

A tower on the dark elf island fell into the capable hands of a fairy. She didn't have to fight this time, though.

Another fairy tale story for the dark elves: Eddinhal has fallen, and some cash was collected by selling the horse that was intended for the Executioner.

Aha, so the Dark Elves dare visit us! One of their archers was killed, but it did far more resistance than I expected.

A wonderful item was retrieved from one place or another. When a hero is lacking power, speed can be invaluable!

Days 30, The Elves Report
A death defying hero and his little army made a bold move which might be very beneficial. But it might also be the end of that group. I'll know tomorrow.

The gamble paid off, and the now far more powerful hero party leaves the danger area.

We're not at all happy to see that Vampire in the Dark corner of the world.

We're storming in on the Human territory. We managed to defeat a fairly strong defending force with surprisingly few losses. The defenders appear to have been too busy tending their wounds during the battle.

Dark Elves - days of failing:

Our city that was (we thought) well-defended fell easily to the Elven strike team and the Elder dragon that we were about to produce now falls into their hands as well! Things indeed look grim...and because of that we have no choice but to look once again to the old necromancy...we animate one of our dead heroes to life again and with the help of this new hero we embark on our last best hope for victory!

Dark Elves

After many many many many many days of bad news, today we managed to strike a blow against the enemy!! Kylar and his squad of horrors had taken a city from us...and were looting the town This of course could not be...all our remaining forces on the island (once our home) were stationed by the spring of life. Gathering nature's blessing, we made a massive attack - killing the badly wounded Yaka Avatar and Fire elemental and managing to slay Kylar as well!

Sadly elsewhere things did not go so well...but oh well

The tragic loss of the hero force had to be revenged, and what better target than the lizard pack in the tower? It didn't go all that well, but maybe, just maybe, the bad ones still suffer more from their losses than we did from ours?

Dark Elves - Day 36:

The attack on our tower was interesting...it left a 2 hex city with only a single unit with magic strike. We quickly killed the elf cleric and then the vampire slaughtered and charmed the rest...then razed the city and charmed them as well

With the Lizard King and our Vampire, we have a chance...it is slight...but it exists!

Once again, a fairy has razed the (former) Dark Elven capital. Unfortunately she failed her attempt to destroy the angry citizens.

In another part of the world, the last human city was taken from the dark elves.

Syrons and Yaka Avatars in orange colors are a bit worrying here and there. It's good they can't deal with walls.

Days 37, The Elves Report
At last, the Karagh is dead! That's a huge relief! It cost us a Sky Drake and a couple of Wyverns and some more minor units, but it was worth it!

We're producing units everywhere in order to be able to launch a final crushing blow to the Dark Elves. They have gathered an amazing force in the former Azrac capital, but in the long (or not so long) run they will be out numbered.

We notice that the Dark Elves are having morale problems in their army, and they must be in quite bad shape economically too. We spotted their two heros and their priest escort. They looked very voulnerable, so we grabbed the opportunity and sailed off to intercept them before they could reach the capital. The battle went very well! No losses on the good side!

Back home, the Azracs are moving in with powerful units, and we're abandoning our homes. We've got plenty of new places to live, though, so that's no real problem.

Days 45, The Elves Report
We strengthened our hero slaying force and attacked the main Dark Elf army that had left their capital. They fought well, but our numbers were overwhelming so it never really got dangerous.

A nymph almost killed the Vampire which had destroyed our life node, but unfortunately the vampire survived. But it's just a matter of time before we catch up with the monster. The capital will not survive tomorrow, unless we feel the need to heal for a day or two before attacking all those archers.
