"Toy Wars" is a small 1v1 map that features the Elves against the Dark Elves. It's story is Christmas themed, with no connection to the aow lore.

It's a funny map, meant to be played with a friend.

There's custom heroes & custom items.

Story:

" It was late September when Santa realised that it will be impossible for him to achieve his goal of delivering toys to all the good children all over the world. He had noticed that his ingenious and hard working elves had gotten a bit lazy lately. This, and the world's demographic explosion, forced Santa to take extreme measures.
At first, he made them wear uniforms. Then, he lowered their salaries to half and even took out the crunchy chocolate bars from the candy machine. But not even that worked. Extreme situations need extreme measures. Old Saint Nick opened his phone book and in no-time he had succeeded in employing aditional man (elf) power to help his cause. These new elves that he had hired were different from Santa's Green Elves. But only physically. They were most excellent craftsmen and tinkers. Their aspect was different though; they had darker skin and silver hair. But they worked hard. So hard even that Santa had offered several dark elves key positions in his factories. More and more green elves kept getting demoted to "Factory Adviser" status. They had to teach the dark elves how to craft toys. Until one day, when the green elf Bodo kneeled down in dispair and shouted: " THEY TOOK OUR JOBS!! THEY TOOK OUR FRIGGIN JOBS!! ". And then a chorus followed: " THEY TOOK OUR JOBS! ".
This incident was not an isolated one; but all differences the elves had were put on hold, for the goal of having the toy quota done before Christmas had to be number one. And the elves succeeded. On Christmas Eve day, Santa gathered all the toys and flew off to deliver them, not knowing what was about to happen.
Behind his back, the elf tribes declared war to eachother; thus the toy war has begun! "

Mission Objectives: Capture the opposing faction's headquarters (starting fort).

Settings:
Leaders: ON or OFF
Spheres: pick anything you like
Exploration: ON or OFF
Allied Victory: Obviously off

A custom rule would be that the "native" frostling towns should not be migrated to other races (elf or dark elf).

Have fun and (maybe it's a bit too early) have a great winter holiday !

Update
--------
Removed the underground elf mine used for the terrain switch.
Changed several item drops to "Common" and "Frequent" from "Rare".
