Alternate Title
The Gods who will be Defeated
(A Sequel to "The God Who was Defeated)

In the ethereal world of the Gods, many games are played by the immortal ones to entertain themselves lest the eternel passing of time leads to stifling boredom. One game played by the Gods is the game of world creation. The Gods create entire worlds filled with strange creatures and set these creatures against each other in combat.

A time long ago, one and in a story told before, the God from the North who is called Arctic Wolf created such a world. Arctic had grown jelous of the great God Ericsson, who won the great tournament of creation, and sought to despoil one of Ericsson's fine works. Of course the northern God failed and though he created a new work from upon the shoulders of Ericsson's, Arctic Wolf was humiliated when Ericsson proved in combat to be superior even though the battlefield was Arctic Wolf's own twisted creation. Arctic Wolf shrunk from the Splendour of Ericsson and cowered in the shadows seeking revenge.

It came to pass that Arctic Wolf noticed the Gods had created a new game whereby they sought dominion over each other upon a Wizard's Ladder. Arctic was intrigued and joined in this contest as well seeking to dominate the other Gods. But alas Arctic was a most feeble opponent and even when using all of his skill and guile was easily smote by the other Gods. The Gods who gained dominion in these contests bore strange names, like Enginerd, Sprout and Thorongil. Each beat Arctic Wolf easily, which led to his jelousy and his bitterness towards the other Gods. This bitternes and jelousy could not be contained and Arctic sought to destroy that which the other Gods loved.

Finally it came to pass that the Greatest of the Gods in theses contests grew bored and longed for a challenge that would entice the other great Gods to re-enter the battlefield. This great God was the one which bore the name strangest to the others..Enginerd. Enginerd proudly boasted his accomplishments and proclaimed a contest to prove his dominion for all time eternal.

But Enginerd made a mistake of folly as he unwittingly asked the Arctic God to create the world in which his contest would be fought. Arctic Wolf was amused. His bitterness and humiliation would finally be atoned. Reaching into the the ethernet of time the Arctic God plucked the World he had once created to despoil Ericsson and knew he could entrap not one God but two. Ericsson's great world would be shattered and Enginerd's pride would be his folly.

For though Enginerd believed that Arctic's heart had changed; it had not; and within the shattered world of Ericsson's Arctic Wolf placed a trap. One that would ensnare Enginerd and bring about his destruction of the very Wizard's Ladder which he cherished. Arctic's revenge was complete when Ericsson joined the contest for now both Gods for whom Arctic held malice were placed fimly within his snare.

So come all and join the contest and let Arctic Wolf wriggle with glee in this his finest hour. For this is the World which brings about the destrcution of the Wizard's Ladder; and this is the World which entraps all who dare enter its domain. Enginerd shall not win this final contest. He shall instead join Ericsson weeping in awe at the master stroke which Arctic Wolf has played. For only Arctic Wolf knows all this worlds secrets
and only Arctic Wolf can battle unscathed. But weep not for the Gods who will be defeated for Enginerd and Ericsson deserve their fate. Instead let us hold Arctic Wolf on high for daring to destroy the Wizard's Ladder. And remember that for this achievement of pure malice.... Arctic Wolf remains.... Unrepentant!
