I've been playing with the beta of the wonderful brave new world 3 mod for some time now and have re-written this map for use with it. Alot of changes have been made, including new scripted quests and events for each wizard and new areas. Also of course all the units have been changed to fit in with the mod.

Playable wizards are as follows:

King MacAlpin - Asgardians
King Alfred - Humans
Aed Finliath - Zulians
King Charles II - Arabians

You must resist the viking invaders. If the vikings don't own any towns after turn 100, they will be considered defeated.

If you set the level of the vikings to less than emperor it will reduce their spawns dramatically.

Recruitment sites contain some heroes and units you are not able to build.

Disabled some structures, only your capital is capable of building a wizard tower and level 3 units.

Build outpost - off
Item teleport - off

For some reason a few of the heroes portraits weren't showing up, this could well be because I only just reinstalled my copy of the game and it missed a few. But just in case its not just me I changed the ones that werent working. The game still worked fine, just one of my heroes had nice blue curtains instead of a face. Apologies to anyone who downloaded this map and had the same problem >.

So Tendril, should I play this one with the BETA or the full 3.0?

I last saved the map using the 3.0, but it dosn't have anything that wont be in the beta. either should be fine.
