The aim of this mod is mainly to re-balance the whole game.
* most of the units now gain special ability with experience.
* the spheres of magic have been tweaked to provide only 5 spells by level.
* everyone should start with a known summon spell
* everyone should start with a known direct damage spell
* everyone have access to cheap pionner units, so razing should be less radical
* Settlers are cheaper now so expander should be more attractive
* the magic should be much more present as the summoned creatures are now more powerful...
* the rewards from the spirits have been tweaked.
* The structures (critter's den, circus, rogue shack, ...) with unit recruiting can be razed now.
This mod is almost finished BUT I need feedback for balancing purpose.
Feel free to open a thread in the forum or send me a mail for any remark/comment/sugession.
NB: you just have to unzip the file into your SM directory.
This is a good one.
Its not bringing many new Units (Pioneers are 'split' into settlers and builders and there are some new narval units) but the rebalancing was done very precisely and the spell system is redone greatly, too.
Not a DL for all those who want tons of new units and those who want to see changes from the beginning on.
I'd not really call it a MOD but a 'balance update', or 'unofficial patch'.
