Most of the units now gain special ability with experience. So their is a bonus to keep as long as possible the same troops.
The spheres of magic have been tweaked to provide only 5 spells by level.
Everyone should start with a known summon spell.
Everyone should start with a known direct damage spell.
Everyone have access to cheap pionner units, so razing should be less radical.
Settlers are cheaper in gold, so expander should be more attractive
The magic should be much more present as the summoned creatures gain new skills with their medals.
The rewards from the spirits have been tweaked.
The structures (critter's den, circus, rogue shack, ...) with unit recruiting can be razed now.
This mod should be usable straigh with the official campaign (thanks PawelS)

Some heroes have been tweaked to respect the new design.
Each race now have a paladin (look them as racial champion).
The halflings, frostlings , dwarfs & goblins are now as fast as the other races. Odd but necessary for MP balance.
Some Built-in wizards are more chalenging as they start with more skills points that you're allowed.
