Arunëmarïslar Tutorial

Background: The language Arunëmarïslar, also known as new Arunian, is a newer form of Arunëmlar, also known as old Arunian. This form of the language was made by a council of language scholars around 245 U.H. It is the language of many Arunī descendants, as well as is the language of the Crunian race. It is also often used by the Berunian race.
Nouns: In Arunian, there are both regular and irregular nouns. A regular noun will end in ‘_a’ and its plural will be ‘_ī’ with the ‘ai’/ ‘ae’ sound (noted by (i) in the dictionary). An example is Lëgora (book), with its plural being Lëgorī. It should be noted that for regular nouns the plural ending of ‘_ī’ replaces the singular ending of ‘_a.’ Irregular nouns are those that do not end with ‘_a’ and the plural ‘_ī’ does not replace the ending letter; there are also a few that end in regular verb endings, but will merely be irregular nouns. An example is Barö (brother) and Äcräs (acid), with the plural of Baröī and Äcräsī. In addition, for irregular nouns, the plural ‘_ī’ uses the ‘í’ / ‘é’ sound (noted by (e) in the dictionary).
Verbs: In Arunian, there are both regular and irregular verbs. A regular verb will end in either ‘_äs,’ ‘_ës,’ ‘_ïs,’ ‘_ös,’ or ‘_üs.’ An example is Kaisös (burn). Irregular verbs are shown by not ending with ‘_äs,’ ‘_ës,’ ‘_ïs,’ ‘_ös,’ or ‘_üs.’ An example is Rëö (run).
Adjectives: In Arunian, adjectives are commonly shown by ending with ‘_u,’ but still may end in undefined endings. An example is Lïmbrüsu (agile) and Bïc (bad).
Endings/Beginnings: Like Manish, Arunian has many endings for words that are used to give an extra definition (many are adverbs). To show past tense in Manish, usually a word will end in ‘_ed,’ in Arunian it ends with ‘_ka.’ Similar endings such as ‘_s’ (for plural), ‘_s’ (not for plural), ‘_ing,’ ‘_sion/tion,’ ‘_er’ (intensifier), and ‘_est’ (intensifier) are shown as ‘_ī,’ ‘_äi,’ ‘_úni,’ ‘_ira,’ ‘_ari,’ and ‘aru.’ Although not all words in Arunian will end with them, even if they would in Manish, an example is Yuclera (destruction).
Word Placement: Word placement in Arunian is pretty much exactly like the common tongue’s (Manish). Unless noted the translation of words from Arunian to Manish (or vice versa) are the same. An example is: (Manish) He read the book. (Arunëmarïslar) Ain lënäska tê lëgora. Some words are noted to be placed in a certain place in the sentence, such as Ògma (massive), which is always placed after the noun it is defining.
Numbers: When using then name of a number (such as two compared to 2) from ten and beyond the first few letters of certain numbers and then the rest of the secondary numbers. The letters used from the numbers are underlined.
