    It must have been like 4 in the morning, and all of the
    servers were at a low point. It wasn't even a challenge,
    gaming against the newbs this late. The pros turned off
    their computers, each going to rest. They had a big day
    tomorrow (well, today actually). The Gamer Army was
    preparing for war, and the government is prepared to
    realiate.

    Sometime around noon, the gamers finally awoke. It was
    high time to start pwning some noobs again, and so they
    all logged into their computers and began idly chatting
    with each other. Well, most of them did. Two gamers,
    however, didn't wake up. Well, actually, one gamer didn't
    wake up. Atzy had been up early, right around dawn, as was
    his custom. He was tired of his brother calling him a
    noob, but he put up with it anyway to film the show. The
    show had made them both quite popular. After jogging for
    ten minutes to a cafe, Atzy got out his camera and began
    doing his journalism assignment, which was to film people
    in their natural element in the morning. When he was
    finished, he decided to take a short cut home through the
    alleys. That was his last mistake. Suddenly, someone
    walked straight through the wall in front of him. Jeremy
    had mentioned these types. Hackers. He turned to run, but
    another came from there, and when he turned to try and
    dash the other way, one more was coming up the alleyway.
    He was surrounded. Finally, a man wearing a cape-like coat
    came floating down from the rooftops.

    "Where are you going, brother of mine enemy?" he mocked.
    Both of his hands stretched out and filled with micro
    energy. Atzy had seen it all before, when they had been
    set upon in another alley. But he had had Jeremy and his
    friends then, and they had won. Atzy couldn't possibly win
    a micro battle! In resigned defeat, he dashed at a
    dumpster and tried to crawl under it. One of the gamers
    grabbed him by the feet, and Kyle released his camera,
    hoping Jeremy would find it.

    "You don't scare me!" he cried.

    "I don't have to." Those were the last things he heard.
    His body was never found, but Jeremy found his camera and
    the secrets it contained later that day, between
    tournaments on his way to the donut shop.

    Of course, another oddity was noticed much sooner.
    Blatant7 hadn't logged on today. He missed a Zero Hour
    tournament, followed by a Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
    tournament. In wonder, the town looked him up and went to
    his house, where they found him, his entire head blown
    away. The other gamers were shocked. The Gamer War had
    truly begun, casaulties on both sides.

    Kyle (Atzy), a mason tracker, has been night killed.
    Big Bad (Blatant7), the godfather, has been night killed.
    It is now Day 1.
    There are 9 of you, so it is 5 to lynch.

    Or we might just have two scum groups, say, a mafia and a serial killer. I guess I think it's probably more likely than having a doctor-like role that kills the attacker rather than saves the attacked.

    I can't say that I do. Voting randomly (and yes, voting for the first person to post counts as random in my book), although better than going for a no-lynch, isn't something we really want to do. It's better to vote for someone for a reason, even if it's only something like being inactive or making a slightly scummy-seeming post.

    On the first day nobody can be inactive, at least at the begining, and Rot leaves no clues in his posts. Its a point of principle for him to make players play against players, not spend hours searching a post from the moderator.

    I don't think that it's so much that they want you dead per se, but more that they want to get the game going.

    I never suggested that we should spend hours picking Rot's post apart and doing nothing else. And people can be plenty inactive on day 1.

    And people can be plenty inactive on day 1.
    Not on the very begining. We would have to wait for everybody to post something that was useless and determine who took the longest to post to find somebody inactive and in that time we could be going for somebody. Since nobody seems to like the idea of pressuring two people, however, I'll Unvote: Aeneas and Vote: Epic Commander.
