Conner, although I didn't have the pleasure of getting to know you very well during high school, I always knew that your wit, intelligence, and unique personality were going to take you places. You were your own person; you didn... Read more’t give a shit about what other people thought (that definitely says something of your strength of character) and you practically oozed originality wherever you went and into everything you did. Back in history class, you schooled Mrs. Speechley something wicked – on a daily basis – and played a pretty unmatchable devil’s advocate! Your ability to think and act on a dime was beyond impressive. I know you weren’t religious, and certainly never would have had it any other way, but I hope you’re somewhere where you're comfortable, wearing your officers jacket that you bought in Europe, and having a ball as you rant somebody’s ear off about the evils of communism. You were a truly exceptional person and you'll definitely be missed.
Conner I feel like I never got the chance to truly understand you. I knew enough to see that you were a good person, pure of heart and a thoughtful human being. It was plain to see you were full of potential and it saddens me to great lengths to hear your life cut short. I hope you lived everyday you had to it's fullest and without regret. The world has suffered a great loss with your passing, I just know you were one of those people who were going to grow up and really bring about change in your lifetime, but at the same time I remember a boy who just wanted to live. To love and be loved, thats all anyone ever needs in the end. I remember clearly, a moment when you really tried to reach out... I really feel like I let you down. I hope you found solace in your final hour and as your physical frame you leave behind returns to the earth I hope your soul as well finds sanctuary in where it belongs. So yes, it's true, Foamy has left us for good. Remember him forever, and be happy, for he is not to be burdened with the troubles of this world anymore. There is little I could possibly say, for I knew him little, and not enough, but every time I talked to him, I knew that he was a great kid, and he could always make me laugh no matter how depressed I felt, and talked me out of suicide a couple of times as well. Few great, none better, may Foamy live on in our memories, and the memories of those who knew him in real life.
