Vengance Mafia


The game is over. The town has won.
In a small town, the Mafia have come. They will kill the inhabitants if there is nothing done to stop them. They must be stopped at all costs.

Normal Rules (copied and posted from Trojan War Mafia)

  • Communication outside of this thread concerning the game is forbidden at all times, except if your role allows it.
  • Do not quote or poorly paraphrase anything that I say about this game outside of this thread or the sign-up thread.
  • Do not edit your posts.
  • Bold your votes and unvotes, if they are not bolded, they will not be counted.
  • A lynch (or no-lynch for that matter) requires a majority of votes. Once this majority is reached, the result is final.
  • Keep night posting to a minimum. A little is fine, but DO NOT reveal any important game information.
  • Once you die, you may post a good-bye/good game post, but then, please stop posting.
  • Night will last approximately 48 hours.
  • Day will last until a majority is reached, or discussion dies down and a flexible deadline I impose is reached.
  • Any questions or comments should be sent to me at ulfangtheblack@hotmail.com
  • The game will start on Day 1.

    Specific Rules for This Game
    1. The mafia can't kill at all. There is essentially no Night phase.
    2. If the godfather is lynched at any point, the town immediately wins. (This is the only special quality of the godfather.)
    3. If, on Day 1 only, one of the townies is lynched, this townie immediately gets to make a vigilante kill.
    4. The town does not automatically win by having the godfather vig killed in this way.
    5.Mafia wins when there are at least as many mafia as townies, and the town doesn't have a vig kill to use.

    I have changed #3 to the following:

    If one of the townies is lynched, this townie gets to make a vigilante kill. This is the town's one-shot weapon.

    The original left out possibility for a goon lynch on day one, and then a townie lynch later.

    Well, in essence, none as long as there is discussion. If there isn't much, I'll make a deadline and lynch the person with the most votes. If there's a tie, I'll randomly choose. If there's no votes, I'll take that as a five way tie.

    Just keep the discussion.

    Where did he say it was a joke? And why do you lynch me in my email it says im a townsman. Because I don't get how this game goes? This is my first game . I'm sorry but MightyFireball should have made what he was saying clearer.

    A vigilante kill, basically, that forummer submits the name to me before I make the death post, and that forummer dies - with the hope that it's Mafia. Get it to me ASAP. Delaying makes the game go slower.

    That was an entirely random vote based on a piece of evidence that really doesn't exist. However, Legolaim seems to be acting fairly rashly for someone who's first mafia game this is. There is no reason for someone to vote for you after you do something suspiscious, especially in the early game when we have little to go on.
