i have a question; i got the 4 player battlefield map from a player online, and i sibsequently made changes to it and re-saved it as 4 player battlefield v2.0(edited by shawdster), unfortunately, i cant seem to get it to go onto my game, so i cant play it. can u help me with this?

You have to save it in the correct folder.

/Documents and Settings/Username/Appliaction Data/My Battle for Middle-earth(tm) II Files/Maps/

When I try to put in any type of fence in WB.. it isn't there when I play it in a skirmish.. it is just gone... as if I never put it there.. but when I go back to WB it is still there...

To go with my last reply... I've also noticed that some "Shrubbery" is also missing... (as in it is visible in WB but not in Skirmish...)... as well as one or two other small objects (namely the tomb stone)...

Have you tried another type of object? Some objects don't show up for random reasons.

the reason it doesnt show up is cos ur detail setting is too low some objects only show up with a higher detail setting to reduce the amount of lag in game

LOL I never knew that. I always have mine set to Ultra High because I have a 7900GS. LOL.

I guess that would make sense...
But I still don't get why a simple fence would cause lag...

mr mod guru sir! got a question.

i'm trying to mod ROTWK

i extracted my INI.big file, deleted it and put the ini folder in:

...The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king\data

is that where i'm supposed to put it? coz the game crashes, even when i haven't made any changes yet.

i tried uninstalling and reinstalling. i even made sure to delete the source folder before reinstalling.

what am i screwing up?

i have a problem. I got the map 4 player battlefield from a game online. i waned to make some changes, so i opened it up in world builder, did save as, and entered a different title. like usual, it created a second map with the new name. it even shows up as two different maps in the map folder in application data. the problem is, the game isn't showing it on the maps list in the game. it only shows the origional. What should i do?
