Ok guys, this is a way to play against/with each other without going online.

First, download Hamachi. Search for it on Google and you can download it for free. It's a network-connecting program.

Next, on the bottom-right of Hamachi, there should be a join/create network button. Push it.

The network name will be BFME2H. The password will be dagorlad. Once you're in, you will see other members of the network, and whether they are online or not. If two or more people are online, they can go to the BFME2 main menu, press multiplayer, then press network to play.

If you need help with anything here, don't hesitate to ask. I look forward to seeing you all on the network!

Man, Blatant, a friend of his, and I just had a really great game on Hamachi. We would have killed those three brutal opponents if his friend hadn't left early in the game.....*Mutters*

Yeah dude. I continued on after you had to leave and almost killed Isengard. Then elves came around and wasted me. Oh btw that friend is Man of Popsicle on here.

Nice, a hamachi network. I've played several Crusader games over it. Unfortunately I'm squeezed between finals right now, so I can't play.

I'll add the network though when I get home.

We should have some forum parties when we get some more.

Seeing this makes me want to buy...

My friend has this, and while it looks good, it also seems a bit simplified in economy and tedious with the strict formations.

Can anyone tell me the merits of BFMEII?

The Merits:
  • Cheap. One can purchse the anthology for $20.
  • Fast (usually). It is a rush oriented game, so you spend hours trying to finish a match.
  • Very easy to play mods online.
  • More of an incentive to keep units alive, due to the leveling system.
  • A lot of chance for unique strategies given the different heroes and relative easiness of producing most units early game.
  • Custom heros which adds a fun twist to the game unless they aren't being allowed. (stupid glitched customs! ...)
  • The One Ring feature which can help to end stalemated games if it is not turned off.
  • A good game for team play.
  • Fun mechanics like fire.

Everyone else feel free to add.

    Donwloaded, I'm on the network!

Hey, nice. I've been limited to playing lotr with hamachi this past year after royally screwing up my EA online account.

Anywho, I'm connected and looking forward to playing you guys.

Atzy, please forgive my noobishness for that game. I'm usually a lot better... ANyways, good game. We only won thanks to Atzy.

Oooh, how did the game go?

The game was OK. It was a 3v3 comp stop on Weathertop but I was getting so much lag that by the end I just ordered my men to attack a building and went off to get some chocolate milk.

And Blatant, you can't be blamed since all three brutals were primarily attacking you. I sent what help I could but it was a tough battle.

Next time though, I want to host and get no lag.

To people who message me on Hamachi - I leave hamachi logged on pretty much 24/7 so if you don't get an immediate response, it means I'm not there.

Saved that relay Nacht. The game you, Ben and I played on tourney Rhudaur was awesome. If only I had a human ally and my cheap Troll Hero.

    I saved the replay.

Does Hamachi's tech support give any suggestions?

    Sorry, stupid question.
