Replays

Replays are put into a folder of your computer. In order to acces them, you need to switch some settings first.

Open up 'This Computer', or Windows Explorer. Click on 'Extra', and then on 'Display. Browse down and check 'Reveal hidden maps and files'.*

Now to find your replays:

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\(your username)\Application Data\My Battle for Middle Earth 2 files\Replays

Or try this, thanks to Elven Slayer :

My Computer-->Tools-->Folder Options-->View-->Click on Show hidden files and folders

You can post these replays here at the site or put downloaded replays in that map.

*Do not mess with hidden files and maps. They are hidden for a reason.

Happy gaming, and I'm looking forward to see great replays of you guys!

Don't open the replays at all. Just put them into the replay folder, and then you can watch them from within the game.

Multiplayer-->Replays

how do i get them to the replay folder?

When you've downloaded a replay, you can choose where to save it. So you can either save it directly into the folder, or to your desktop and then drag it into the folder.

If you've ever saved a replay in a game the folder will be there.

I have a saved replay but I still can't find the replay folder to save the replay I want to watch in.

The replay folder can be found at C:\Documents and Settings\(your username)\Application Data\My Battle for Middle Earth 2 files\Replays.

Are you able to get into the Application Data folder? And have you ever saved a replay after a game?

I have a saved replay on the game but I don't know how to get to the application data folder.

Try this:

My Computer-->Tools-->Folder Options-->View-->Click on Show hidden files and folders

Application Data is a hidden folder, so you have to unhide it first.

When I try to open any replay it just says: unable to open C:\Documents and Settings\(my username)\desktop\(the name of replay). This is all under Nikon Editor. I have no clue what's wrong and I would appreciate your help.

Thanks for your time-

Don't open the replays outside of the game, I think that ruins them (at least, given the experience of others I think it might).

When the replay has been downloaded into your replays folder, start the game, go to Multiplayer, select Replays, and select the one that you want to watch.

What does the Download folder look like? I looked at the replays in the actual game but there was only the replay of the very last game I have played. I did this at the last stage I could before the error message.

It shouldn't be in a Downloads folder, but the Replays folder. Do you see it here?: C:\Documents and Settings\(your username)\Application Data\My Battle for Middle Earth 2 files\Replays

The Replays folder is hidden, so if your computer is set up to hide files, you'll need to make them visible first. To do that go to: My Computer-->Tools-->Folder Options-->View-->Click on Show hidden files and folders

I found the replay folder but only my last played game is here. What should I do to get the replays I want to watch in there? Do I just drag it in?

Thanks for you time and input-

Yeah, and all I can find is the last replay I downloaded.
