Well, you want to get more posts, but you don't want to spam, right? It's very simple to do so, with these helpful tricks! But first, a little background on me...
My name at HG is Arvedui, and my 'home heaven' is BFME2H. I also frequent some other sites. My goal is to get 5000 posts before my 1 year anniversary on December 11, making me the perfect person to tell you this stuff!

1. Visit more than one heaven.
I can't stress this enough. I visit BFME2H, HWH, WiCH, The Travelling Thread, Spore Forum, and occassionally OD. It's the best way to boost your post count. There's only so many posts you can make in one place, and going to more places gives you more opportunities.
2. You always have something to contribute.
It doesn't matter what the subject is, contribute with your own post. Even if you have nothing to say, just a simple 'lol', say something like 'Lol! 
That was hilarious! '. It's not spam, and it's raising your post count!

You might notice that whenever I get online on BFME2H, after 30 minutes or so, the entire front page of the PP is filled with threads saying "Last updated by: Arvedui". I always contribute to every single thread, and make at least one post. What's better is that when there are other people online, you can post more when they reply to you!
4. Please be coherent.
Otherwise people will say you're spamming. 
5. Start conversations with others.
If you're involved in a conversation with someone, like Smeagol and I discussing India, you get an opportunity to post with even more legitimacy!
6. Debates are your friend.
Long posts, more opportunities.
7. Calculations.
Everyday, count how many posts per day you need to obtain your goal. To do this, subtract your current post count from your goal, and divide the difference by the number of days till your deadline. Mine is about 25.5 right now. And then achieve to make more posts than that to beat the deadline. I'm making 60 to 80 posts a day.
8. Sieze every opportunity.
"I couldn't edit the post, wth?" "Oh, I forgot to edit, sorry. 
" You know it.
" You know it. 9. Make your own threads.
Perfect opportunity to discuss your own topic which you have the ability to discuss, and raise your post count.
10. Join in the word associations games.
And your post count will go through the roof.
11. And please don't spam multiple posts.
Like Taylor's 24 posts in a row. That's serious trouble, and will hurt your reputation.
