Hello and welcome to the 3rd Semi-Annual BFME2H awards '07- the awards that are there for you! During the course of this Award season, we will be bringing the 4 ingredients of BFME2H under a combination of 4 threads- Laughter, Friendship, Respect and a little Spam on the side
Enough of that! I'm here to kick off the Awards season, and we'll be using our normal system of doing so. For those of you who are new, it is the following-
  • The Discussion Thread- this will stay open Thoughout the Award Season. Discuss all awards, suggest a few, and state your case for the Tolkien Award.
  • The Nomination Thread- After a week or so of frenzied discussions, you get to nominate who you think should get the awards. This will be open for about a week, so get them in.
  • The Voting Thread*- This is the next stage. The Nominees are voted for. This will be open for a week.
  • The Presentation- FD2 and SS have done it. Can you top them? The Host has been chosen. Sorry folks!

    Throughout this we will be looking for the maximum amount of votes and nominations, so don't forget to drag your little friends from the game forums to participate. This is an awards ceremony for the entirety of BFME2H, not just a Prancing Pony popularity contest.

    Special awards


    The Bilbo Award- this award goes to the forumer with the most creative outlook.

    The Samwise Award- this award goes to the forumer who works the hardest or contributes the most for the Heaven. This award cannot be won by moderators.

    The Elrond Award- This award is for the forumer most learned in LoTR lore-wise.

    The Black Gate Award- Pioneered by SS and myself, this award goes to the funniest thing that has happened since the last awards. A quote, a quip, a story- anything.

    The Frodo Award- The forumer who has accomplished the single greatest feat since the last forum awards.

    The Boromir Award- The fairplay award for BFME2

    The Aragorn Award- This award is for the forumer who displays the most leadership on the forums. Due to his awesome Seraphness, Aeneas can't win this.
    How's that for sucking up?

    The Tolkien Award- The Ultimate BFME2H forumer. Enough said.

    All the awards are too bland. They are stereotypical awards coming out of a production line, with no flavour added to them. There were tons of good awards that might have made it a bit more fun submitted however. :/

    The only unusual nominations I saw were most passifistic and most war-like.

    And everyone already knows who would get those.

    We need something strange. Sorry I was angry earlier, however, as I had just spent 4 ****ing hours standing to attention in the sun.

    Its a bit late now, there have been too many nominations. And most of the current ones would be rigged anyway, we need to make less rigged ones.

    I didn't nominate him. I hate his guts.

    Abstain is a forumer from a long time ago who creates endless smurfs populating the entire HG. It's really confusing sometimes telling real forumers from smurfs of Abstain.

    What really suprises me is the number of nominations for TBA. I had no idea TheBlackAdmiral was so popular with everyone.
