Dutch Dates are meetings of folk from this forum in the Netherlands, usually in Utrecht.
Dutch Date IX is the proposed meeting in the autumn this year; it will be the ninth such meeting, hence the name.

You can see what happens at these DD's, just scroll down to Dutch Date VIII: Napoleon's return to see the pictures (from post #100 onwards) from the recent Spring meeting.

Uni starts on Sept. 20th for me (although I don't know if I'll actually have class the three days after that). Gah! Oh well. I'll have to pass this one up.. hope to be there on the next one, though.

Edit: actually.. put me down as a "maybe" - seems I can get away with a very interestingly priced hotel and train ticket.. hrrrm.
